Monthly Update #28
🕑 Added 2023-05-09 15:30:31 +0000 UTCI'm hard at work trying to get all the assets done for Eeyok's route. Much like James' route, almost everything needed to be created from scratch, there's nothing I could really re-use such as backgrounds or outfits.
This also means a new soundtrack!
I've been teaching myself some 3D modeling so I can use these skills on a future game, but I'm also using it to create backgrounds for Eeyok. So here's some of the backgrounds I've created so far!
It's been very fun so far learning 3D. This should help with CG as well, since I can use different angles of the same background.
I'm also writing his first couple of chapters. One thing to note is that Eeyok is definitely not the same person as in James' route, especially since he starts out as cold and standoffish towards the MC in his own route. Same personality core is still there, he's still lovable little Eeyok, but it will take some time to get to the point where he shows his true colours.
Eeyok's first chapter will be available in the July update β€
I'll need to see if I can contact the VA for him so that he can voice additional sounds, and perhaps even MC names.

I gave Eeyok my charm as well! I haven't done a playthrough with giving it to James yet... but I'd probably feel bad if I didn't give the charm to Eeyok. He's so sweet and the way he acts when you give it to him is so adorable.

James is just an ass, haha. Eeyok has his reasons for being standoffish at the start, but it won't take as long to get him to act nicer and familiar to you.

I'm happy he won't be as standoffish as James! I do like a tsundere sometimes, but when it takes too long for them to be nice then I get so frustrated haha

Eeyok gave me my first big shock of this game in Jamesβs route, especially since I gave him the charm instead of James, so Iβm super excited to get the chance to romance him! π€
