The Path 0.2 - Progress report
🕑 Added 2022-05-18 03:47:29 +0000 UTCInteresting weekend. Saturday I woke up and the forest was on fire right in front of the house.
Nevermind, development keeps on going no matter what, but the view now is black and desolate.
So I'm very close to done with renders. I'll have to release a shorter update than I planned.
How come ? Because I upscaled the whole game from 720p to FullHD, so I have to remaster all the renders from the beginning, It had to be done. I prefer to do it now before render-count is piling up.
I also plan to implement the prototype of a gallery system, learn how to *cough* patch stuff *cough*. Basically I'm wrapping up graphics sooner to do everything that needs to be done in remastering and the coding that follows. This story-centered update may be short with very little interaction but it will end with some Svana action this I promise (animated).
I'm not re-rendering everything from scratch don't worry, just adjusting the old renders to the new resolution. Already did tests, it looks great and the quality will suddenly jump mid-game lol. The GUI needs a whole lot of adjustments though eech...
Thank you guys for your patience, much love.
Au revoir, LeFrench.
