Making his spikes as separate objects, so they can be swapped out on the fly to other types of methods / styles (real separate spikes for example), however a given situation should dictate. On display now is the one big object per "one big spike" way, don't worry the meeting of the head & spike objects is this sharp only because of the editing view.
