November turned out to be a pretty stressful month for the team, and December isn’t slowing down either as we work hard to prepare Subliminal for its release. Last time I reached out, we announced a delay for the Content Creator Demo. Since then, we’ve also been on the lookout for a new developer to join Accidental Studios—a search that’s still ongoing! If you or someone you know might be interested, feel free to apply through our Discord server.
Now for the big news: we’re changing up our approach to releasing Subliminal and wanted you to be the first to know.
To bring you something sooner, we’re excited to announce the release of Subliminal’s official prologue this Christmas! This prologue will be a polished, standalone experience that introduces you to the world of Subliminal.
It’s designed to immerse you in the story, atmosphere, and puzzles we’ve been carefully crafting while also helping us secure the funding we need to complete the full game.
Of course, everyone here will receive Steam keys for both the prologue and the full game.
This approach lets us share Subliminal with you much sooner while ensuring we deliver the level of quality you deserve. Thank you so much for your continued support—we truly couldn’t do this without you! Cheers,

We'll discuss the full release in our roadmap post coming soon, and we'll have more details about the prologue closer to its release.
