With the massive swing of last week's poll ending up with more than 70% in favor of more exploration, we would love to hear from you what kind of exploration you would like to see more of most!
What kind of Exploration would you like to see more of in Subliminal?
- 1.) Open-Environment Exploration:
Exploration in big, central environments where you are able to explore different areas within the central environment.
- 2.) Path-Centered Exploration:
Exploration through long, winding paths and individual rooms where you as the player go on more of a "journey" as you progress, not often walking the same path twice.

I always find it nerve wracking when you see a large area with a bunch of different paths. I also really like the paths that change behind you when you take turns

It would be amazing to see some really big open rooms that make you feel like an ant compared to the backrooms. But have enough paths and weird hallways for these rooms to have multiple exits in some situations. I like the concept of getting lost in the backrooms, but I wouldn’t make it too easy to get lost lmaoooo

I also feel like it would really benefit the game’s atmosphere if you focused on making the exploration spaces feel very much like liminal spaces. This was mine and many others’ biggest hope for the game from the very beginning
