Isn't there some sort of electric assist you can get to raise and lower the tent? Maybe just a long tree branch (as has been suggested). Or maybe the struggle is part of the adventure?
Good idea to grab studded tires! And no loose lugs to damage your rims this time!
Today I learned Eva has a potty mouth. Haha. Glad it worked out. Looks fun out there.

So exciting to see the start of the big drive! I imagine that Sweden is the same as Norway and a lot of the big trucks from other countries don't have proper winter tyres, so they're often the ones causing delays on the roads. I hope that can give you a little more confidence in your driving!
