Update: Semi regular updates
🕑 Added 2020-01-13 09:40:29 +0000 UTCHello Patrons,
I hope you all had a good holiday.
I've decided to try to do short, semi regular updates this year, to keep you all in the loop of whatever it is I'm doing. They won't contain anything important, and I'll mark them with "Update:" so you can feel free to ignore them.
Last week, all Pathbuilder 2e related:
1) I added a system to the custom buffs whereby damage buffs can be keyed off particular weapon traits. This will allow barbarians to buff up and only affect relevant weapons.
2) I started work on a file system for builds. Easy enough for local files - but I ran into severe difficulty with cloud files. Local files work via an sqllite database, so creating an additional folders table was quite simple. Cloud files use google's asynchronous file system, and I lost 10 points of sanity before deciding to have local folders only. I might come back to cloud folders another time.
This week:
1) I need to finish the file systems capability to move/copy files between cloud and local. Complicated by managing two quite different systems, with the cloud system needing to be synchronised on multiple devices.
2) I want to add the content from the last two Age of Ashes adventure paths, (includes pets, feats and archetypes).
3) Go through bug reports and fix things.
That means that Pathbuilder 1e and Omdura is going to be pushed back until after that, and starting the Steam version of Pathbuilder 2e even further.
Dave
