Regarding Rewards
🕑 Added 2021-08-28 08:23:57 +0000 UTCI'm really sorry, y'all, I've been dropping the ball on these and I have no excuse. I'm ashamed. Art's...been rough for me these days. Things are NOT good here at all and I can barely work on commissions, let alone timed projects, of which I'm done with on August 31. I've tried to be optimistic and hopeful but as you can see, that only gets me so far. I lost a lot of Patrons and because of that, I've suffered a lot of mental pain.
It's my fault, I am not blaming the patrons for leaving: you're paying me for a service I've failed to provide. However, with Paypal fees increasing, my rent increasing (it's already sky high and NO apartments are open for rent right now) and a myriad of health issues, I've been exhausted. I spend my free time streaming, hoping I can start making a living out of it so we can move out of this shithole but...no luck.
I'm not trying to run a pity party, just letting folks know everything. I'm as transparent as I can be. I've decided to close down commissions for a while while I catch up on Patreon rewards in September and finish my commission queue. I had a few from before I went to visit my family (thank you all So much for that--I needed it) but as of now, I still have a few NEW ones to catch up on bills and rent, since the Covid clause is gone and you can be evicted for late rent payments here. It's how we lost our last house; bank loophole. I got nowhere to go if that happens.
SO. I'm sorry. I'm BEYOND sorry, well and truly. I've felt like a failure and I don't want to let people down. I'm working hard to finish my queue (three commissions left) and then I promise--I'm back to comic and Patreon rewards.
Please forgive me from the bottom of my heart. I'm trying my best.
