🕑 Added 2025-07-23 16:31:02 +0000 UTC“Can one of you take me to my room please?”Hermione asked. Bellatrix looked her soulmate over in concern. After spending a relaxing Sunday afternoon to include finding a way for the sisters to access the room by themselves the Monday school day had been uneventful. At least Bellatrix thought it had been uneventful. She was sitting at the staff table during dinner and Hermione had just walked up and made her request. Bellatrix didn’t see anything physically wrong with Hermione. She even held herself like she normally did. Her face was impassive and if it wasn’t for the tightening around the girl’s eyes that betrayed her anger Bellatrix would have dismissed it as Hermione just being finished eating. That not being the case Bellatrix shoveled a few more forkfuls of food in her mouth, drank some juice and stood.
“Come on let’s go.”Bellatrix didn’t wait for a reply before making her way around the table to Hermione. She put her arm around Hermione’s shoulder feeling happy that Hermione’s talk with Fawkes had worked and the Phoenix flew above Hermione when she was walking with the sisters.
“What’s wrong sweetheart?”Andromeda asked as she jogged to catch up with the pair as they were exiting the room.
“I need a minute.”Hermione said.
“Take your time.”Narcissa was very concerned about Hermione. Hermione never needed a minute to tell the sisters what was wrong. That meant she was extremely upset.
Bellatrix raised an eyebrow when Hermione buried her face in Bellatrix’s shoulder and growled.”Take some deep breaths.”
“That’s it in and out.”Andromeda really wanted to know what upset Hermione so that she could cause it pain.
Hermione took a deep breath and let it out slowly.”Sorry I just needed to get out of there before I said or did something I would regret.”
“Can you tell us what happened now?”Narcissa asked.
“It’s Pansy. We didn’t go to breakfast and she was late to lunch so I didn’t have to deal with her all day. Then when I sat down at my table for dinner she was in front of me right away asking me questions. She didn’t even let me put food on my plate before she starting interrogating me.”Hermione was still irritated.
“What did she ask about?”Bellatrix was trying to think of a way to get Pansy to leave Hermione alone.
“Since the article everyone knows we visited Salazar’s vault. I’ve been getting questions about it all day but most of the people are polite and leave me alone when I give them bare minimum details. Well Pansy wouldn’t take the bare details. She just kept asking me what exactly was in the vault. How much gold was in there? Were there any diamonds and jewels? Did Salazar leave any spell books in there? I just keep telling her I didn’t look around much so I didn’t know what was in there. Just like we decided to say to people. She wouldn’t let it go though. She just kept pushing. I finally snapped and asked her why she was so interested in Salazar’s vault. She replied that she just wondered what the founder of her house left behind. I told her that I gave her all the information I had and to please stop asking about it.”Hermione told her.
“What did she say to that?”Narcissa didn’t think that was enough to make Hermione upset.
“She moved from that topic to how much access you three will have to my houses and if you were given access to Salazar’s vault. I flat out told her what I do with my houses and vaults was none of her business and it is incredibly rude to ask.”Hermione had wished that would have stopped Pansy.
“What was her reply?”Andromeda asked.
“She told me she wasn’t being rude she trying to get to know me better and that friends told each other about their lives. I told her we are not friends and she told me that of course we were because sat together and talked at every meal. I corrected her thinking by telling her that although we did sit together for meals we didn’t talk. I ate while she asked me inappropriate questions about my personal life and that I was highly offended during each one of our interactions because of her invasive, rude forms of trying to get information about myself so she could pass it on to her mother.”Hermione said.
Bellatrix laughed.”I hate that I wasn’t paying attention to your table during dinner. I bet her reaction was priceless.”
“She stared at me opened mouthed and turned a bright red when I mentioned her mother. When she got her bearings she stuttered out a few denials that didn’t make any sense and just confirmed our theory that she is a spy for her mother.”Hermione was happy it was out in the open.
“I’m sorry you had to go through that darling but at least the girl is now exposed and you don’t have to humor her anymore.”Narcissa was trying to come up with some way to punish Pansy for her and her mother’s scheme.
“That or she will go overboard trying to get you to like her. If her mother is the one pulling the strings then she won’t let Pansy give up so easily.”Andromeda bet that Pansy would approach Hermione again soon.
“At least we finally know for sure what Pansy’s angle is. It also exposes her mother. Most of her questions were about how involved we were in Hermione’s life. She was probably trying to figure out a way to reach out to Hermione without us knowing and was having Pansy getting the information from Hermione so she could make a plan. I bet she went mental when she read about you being Hermione’s guardian.”Bellatrix didn’t think the woman would react well.
“I think a lot of people are going to go mental when they find out. Cissa is going to be getting a lot of hate mail from our enemies over their lack of access to Hermione.”Andromeda said.
“Molly will be one of the first ones once she realizes that the reason Hermione didn’t write her back was because of us.”Narcissa predicated she was going to get a letter the next day.
“Chipmunk.”Bellatrix waited until the door to the Slytherin dorms opened before leading Hermione in and walking towards her room. Bellatrix reached out for the door knob and opened the door herself.”It’s so nice having unlimited access to this room.”
Andromeda made her way to the couch and took a seat.”I like that our keys are the pieces of jewelry Hermione gave us from Salazar’s vault.”
“I heard people talking about your engagement ring Andy.”Hermione said taking a seat next to Andromeda with Bellatrix on the other side of her.
“Poppy asked me as well and I told her the ring was a gift from you that you got out of Salazar’s vault and that it was the only finger it fit on. She was very impressed that I was now the owner of something that belonged to Salazar personally.”Andromeda had enjoyed showing off her ring.
“I got complemented on my necklace from a few of the students. I to told them it was a gift from Hermione that came out of Salazar’s vault. They were very impressed with not only the piece itself but the fact that Hermione had access to Salazar’s personal belongings.”Bellatrix was proud to show off the gift Hermione gave her.
“My compliments were accompanied by under the breath comments of wasting the Malfoy fortune. I made sure I replied to the compliments loudly enough so the people making comments could hear that it was gift from Hermione and I didn’t buy it myself. I also mentioned my watch was a gift from Hermione to stop the comments I heard about my excessive spending regarding that.”Narcissa frowned when she realized she had to sit across from Hermione and not next to her.
“Speaking of the Malfoy fortune. I heard a bunch of people asking Daphne about her mother’s proof and it was the main topic of gossip around the students today. Even Gerald was caught up in the excitement and didn’t bother me at all. I heard him asking a lot of people about if they knew what it was.”Hermione was just happy he left her alone.
“The papers are all curious as well but they were careful not to make guesses for fear of us suing them. Hearing that the students were talking about it is good. They will put pressure on Daphne and Draco to find out what it is. The public and the press will put pressure on Lady Greengrass because if she is proven to actually have evidence then it would prove me and Cissa to be liars and a lot of people would be let go from Azkaban. They won’t rest until Lady Greengrass comes forward with it or admits she has nothing.”Bellatrix was happy that the students were putting pressure on Daphne and Draco.
“I like that that story pushed Dumbledore’s interview off the front page.”Hermione said.
“I’m disappointed he didn’t attack us though. It would have been nice to sue him.”Andromeda would love to sue Dumbledore.
“It just proves who the public deems more important.”Narcissa had been pleased when she read the paper that morning seeing her and Bellatrix’s faces on the cover beside a picture of Lady Greengrass. She was even more pleased when she noticed Dumbledore’s interview was put on page four.
“I liked the way that he tried to show himself as a big supporter of purebloods and when the reporter asked for examples instead of giving any he said they’re too many to list. Then he changed the subject when the reporter asked for just one example. I’m honestly surprised he did the interview in the first place.”Bellatrix wouldn’t have done it if she was Dumbledore.
“He kind of had to after Hermione let herself be interviewed by the press. It would give the wrong optics if an eleven year old talked to the press and he only gave them a statement.”Andromeda understood why Dumbledore did it.
“Well all he achieved is making himself look like an idiot. I mean did he honestly think people would believe that he planned everything that happened at Hermione’s sorting with Salazar’s ghost and he is also still denying he was suspended. He was smart enough not to say Hermione was lying about it. Saying she was mistaken saves him from a lawsuit.”Narcissa was annoyed he didn’t call Hermione a liar. It meant they couldn’t sue him.
“Where are you going?”Bellatrix asked Hermione when she got up.
“I’m going to get my Switch to play with.”Hermione told her.
“How do you think he will respond to Minerva’s statement?”Andromeda didn’t think he would react well.
“He likely is going to double down on his lie. Even if most of the public won’t believe it after reading Minerva’s statement he won’t admit the truth. His pride won’t let him.”Narcissa knew he would never admit the truth.
“We need to work on putting together all that information about the Dark Lord to release to the press.”Bellatrix wanted it done before the man came back.
“What game are you playing sweetheart?”Andromeda asked Hermione when she retook her seat holding her Switch.
“Mortuary Assistant.”Hermione told her.
“I would prefer if you didn’t play that game.”Narcissa didn’t think the game was appropriate for Hermione.
“My dad gave it to me so he thinks it’s fine.”Hermione said.
“Denis doesn’t have the greatest judgement when it comes to video games.”Andromeda had been shocked by some of the games Denis allowed Hermione to play growing up.
“I like the games he picks out and I am planning on trying the game Hermione is playing right now.”Bellatrix liked the violent and gory video games Denis preferred. Hermione preferred them as well and she and Bellatrix would play together all the time.
Narcissa shook her head. She hated that she didn’t have a say in what Hermione’s parents allowed her to do. There were many things that Narcissa would have vetoed over the years that they allowed.”Back to the Dark Lord. The folder of information Dumbledore collected is more than enough to prove our claim and gives the press enough to do in-depth research for future articles that would keep the story current over the next few months. We just need to organize everything and put together a statement so that we get credit for outing him.”
“I think we should give Hermione some of the credit as well.”Bellatrix suggested.
“It would show that she isn’t aligned with the Dark Lord but we need to say what her role in this was.”Andromeda thought giving Hermione credit was a good idea.
“We can say she used her knowledge of the muggle world to track down the orphanage and his father’s family.”Narcissa also thought it was a good idea to give Hermione credit.
“That’s believable because she could have gotten the information off of the internet.”Bellatrix was a big fan of the internet. Not only did it provide all kinds of information it allowed her to buy anything she wanted and have it delivered to her home.
“It’s settled we will take credit for finding the information about his magical family and Hermione will take credit for his muggle family and life.”Andromeda thought it would work out perfectly.
“And that will prove that Hermione was active in discrediting the Dark Lord’s cause.”Narcissa was happy with the plan.
“When should we release everything?”Bellatrix asked.
“We should give Minerva’s statement a chance to enrage people and Lady Greengrass to be forced to admit she lied. That way neither of those two things get overlooked because of the bigger story.”Andromeda didn’t want Dumbledore and Lady Greengrass to be swept under the rug.
“Good idea. I don’t want them let off the hook. Especially Lady Greengrass. She and her allies have crossed the line when their children tried to break into Hermione’s room. It makes me extra glad that Salazar placed protections and Hermione wasn’t in the room at the time so they didn’t catch her alone while she was sleeping.”Bellatrix had said a prayer of thanks to Salazar many times since finding out about the protections.
“It makes all of us glad.”Narcissa didn’t even like to think about what would have happened in that situation.
“I wonder why Gerold isn’t a part of that group. Pansy told Hermione that his family visited the Greengrass family many times over the years. I would think that Gerold would be aligned with them still.”Andromeda couldn’t figure that part out.
“They aren’t allies anymore. I heard a couple people talking about how Draco and his friends were making fun of Gerold because he wasn’t a pureblood. They also make fun of all his hand me down school clothes and supplies. I doubt they would make fun of him if they were in an alliance.”Hermione said.
“What could have made them break their alliance though?”Narcissa asked.
“Well Gerold really has no claim to anything of ours because we have no access to the Black estate. I bet that his mother and him made themselves person non grata after making a bunch of demands on their allies. Based on how on how they act I wouldn’t be surprised if they demanded gold from the others and a place to live. They were probably humored for a while until the other families realized they weren’t worth dealing with anymore because they brought nothing to the table.”Bellatrix at least thought that was what happened.
Andromeda smiled when Hermione kicked off her shoes and sat sideways on her lap and stretched her legs out on the couch. Andromeda wrapped her arms around Hermione and pulled her close.”How long do you think Gerold will behave?”
“I have him and Hermione in class tomorrow morning. We will be making potions meaning that everyone will be using the supplies they bought for potions class. I think Gerold will react when he sees that Hermione has the most expensive items that could be bought. Him trying to get things for free from Lenore and his rant about being the heir and deserving only the best for school supplies then seeing what Hermione is using will anger him. Whether or not he can control himself is another question.”Narcissa was prepared for Gerold disrupting her class the following morning.
“I could see the potions supplies triggering him. He hasn’t gotten violent towards Hermione yet but I think he is close to that point.”Andromeda could see the way the boy glared at Hermione throughout every meal that he was angrier and angrier everyday.
Bellatrix moved over on the couch and put Hermione’s feet on her lap. Picking up her left one she began rubbing it.”I hope he boils over when he is in my class so I will get to hurt him.”
“That feels good. Thank you Bella.”Hermione loved having her feet rubbed and appreciated her soulmates whenever they did it.
“No problem pet.”Bellatrix felt good doing nice things for her soulmate.
“I hope he doesn’t act out in my class because it could cause others to get hurt.”Narcissa did her best to prevent accidents but when someone acted out all she could do was try her best to lessen the damage.
“Make sure he doesn’t sit near Hermione.”Andromeda wanted the boy as far away from Hermione as possible.
“I have assigned seating. Hermione sits in the front of the room with Neville and Gerold sits in the back on the other side with Pansy.”Narcissa couldn’t have picked better seats for everyone.
“How did you like studying with Neville today?”Bellatrix asked Hermione. After classes Hermione joined Neville in the library to teach him about the muggle world for his muggles study class. The sisters had left the pair alone to give Hermione a chance to make a friend on her own.
“It was fine. He really has no clue about muggles though and everything we talked confused him. I think he is going to need a lot of help in class. I gave him the bag and he was really grateful for it. I also taught him a couple of the locator spells you three taught me yesterday. By dinner time he had master two of them. So I think that will help him.”Hermione at least hoped it helped Neville.
“I’m glad you are helping him. Not only is he a nice boy but he is a good ally to have.”Narcissa greatly approved of Hermione’s friendship with Neville.
“I like him because he doesn’t ask me personal questions. He did ask about the vault and I gave him our standard answer instead of saying I didn’t really know. I also told him about Salazar’s uniforms and let him touch my tie after I told him it belonged to Salazar.”Hermione said.”It’s to bad the other kids aren’t like Neville. It would be nice not to be pestered about things all the time.”
Andromeda perked up hearing that statement.“Is someone else bothering you?”
“Like you all know I usually get two or three people a day that will come up to for one reason or another but today it was like there was a line of people waiting their turn to ask me all kinds of inappropriate questions to ask a stranger. I understand everyone being interested in Salazar’s vault but that doesn’t give them a pass to come up to me and ask me all kinds of personal questions. Then when I brushed them off or even in some cases told them I wasn’t comfortable answering their questions a bunch of them were extremely rude about it. It was like they thought they were entitled to my answers and me denying them was the highest insult.”Hermione had wanted to pull her wand on numerous people during the day.
“Most of those people truly believe they are entitled to your answers and you will encounter people like that for the rest of your life. For which I am truly sorry for.”Narcissa wished she could protect Hermione from those types of people.
“It’s not your fault Cissa. I really shouldn’t complain. I have been extremely blessed my whole life. Dealing with rude people seems like an easy price to pay for being matched to the three of you and gaining all my titles.”Hermione would adapt eventually.
Andromeda leaned forward and kissed Hermione on the cheek smiling when Hermione blushed.”You charmer.”
“Actually Hermione’s charm brings up something I want to talk about.”Bellatrix said.
“What would that be?”Narcissa asked.
“I would like to know why Hermione has given Andromeda two kisses on the cheek when she has given none to myself and Cissa.”Bellatrix didn’t think it was fair that she hadn’t received a cheek kiss.
“I didn’t kiss Andy on the cheek.”Hermione would remember if she did.
“Sweetheart you kissed me on the cheek when you were leaving our picnic and you did it again in the headmistress’ office before you spoke to the portraits.”Andromeda chuckled at Hermione’s confused look.”You really don’t remember giving me kisses on the cheek?”
Hermione shook her head.”I don’t remember at all.”
“Well in the future if you feel so inclined I would very much like you to kiss my cheek.”Narcissa was horribly jealous that Andromeda got a cheek kiss.
Hermione frowned hearing the formal tone and words Narcissa used. Not really thinking about what she was doing she got off of Andromeda’s lap walked over and took a seat on Narcissa’s, wrapped her arms around the older woman’s neck and kissed her cheek.”There.”
“Thank you darling.”Narcissa didn’t even bother hiding the bright smile that came to her face. She missed Hermione’s cheek kisses.
“Why does everyone but me get a cheek kiss?”Bellatrix didn’t think it was fair that she was being ignored.
“Sorry Bella.”Hermione immediately made her way over to Bellatrix, took a seat on her lap and kissed her cheek.
“You are forgiven.”Bellatrix was very happy to receive a cheek kiss from Hermione.”And cheek kisses would be welcome in the future.”
“All of us would welcome them.”Andromeda knew she would.
“I’ll make sure I give them.”Hermione would push aside her embarrassment to give her soulmates cheek kisses because it seemed important to them.
“Good.”Narcissa was looking forward to more cheek kisses in the future.
“Come back over here and play your game.”Andromeda wanted Hermione to sit on her lap.
Bellatrix tightened her arms around Hermione.”She can play here.”
“I’ll sit with Bella for a little while then I will sit with Cissa so no one gets left out.”Hermione always tried to be fair with her soulmates. Taking her Switch from Andromeda Hermione got comfortable on Bellatrix’s lap and resumed her game.
“Thank you darling.”Narcissa loved the way that Hermione made sure everyone got a chance to spend time with her.
“Getting back to the topic of people bothering Hermione. What do we do about Pansy? We have all agreed she isn’t going to give up. How do we stop her for good?”Andromeda didn’t want Pansy interacting with Hermione anymore.
“We can report her to Minerva and have her talk to the girl.”Bellatrix suggested.
“Pansy would just apologize and promise Minerva that she would be more polite to Hermione in the future.”Narcissa said.
“Maybe Narcissa should send her mother a letter asking her to have her daughter stop talking to Hermione. The reason she can use is that Hermione has been skipping meals to avoid her. Which Hermione has skipped meals so it wouldn’t be a lie. As matter of fact we can have Hermione not go to any meals tomorrow.”Andromeda would steal Hermione for lunch again.
“When you write her tell her that Hermione expressed how rude Pansy was with her constant asking of inappropriate questions during every meal. Questions that Hermione has expressed her discomfort being asked on numerous occasions.”Bellatrix knew they had to give a good excuse.
“It will likely upset her mother because I don’t think I’m supposed to know who she and Pansy’s father are. At least that’s what I think based on the fact I have asked her outright who parents are more than once and she never gives me an answer. Even when she told me about her mother seeing Gerold’s family at the Greengrass manor Pansy didn’t give me her mother’s identity.”Hermione knew it was on purpose.
“That’s because people think that you aren’t with us willingly and assume you don’t tell us anything.”Bellatrix said.
“If I had it my way you all would be with me every second of everyday.”Hermione would love having her soulmates with her all the time.
“If I could I would be with you every second of everyday.”Narcissa wouldn’t leave Hermione’s side if she didn’t have to.
“So would we.”Andromeda could think of nothing better than spending all her time with Hermione.
“As to Pansy I will contact her mother and tell her everything we discussed. After all the unsigned threats she sent me and Bella over the years I am very interested in what her reply will be.”Narcissa expected to receive a not very nice letter from the woman.
“And Hermione will skip meals tomorrow.”Bellatrix was going to steal Hermione for lunch before her sisters could join them.
“I have Pansy in all my classes. What if she tries to approach me then or in the hallway after?”Hermione asked.
“You stay after for mine and Bella’s classes so they are covered. As for your other ones if she approaches you always be polite no matter what don’t lose control of your emotions.”Narcissa didn’t want Hermione doing something they all would regret.
“I know Cissa. You taught how to put on the mask.”Hermione had been trained since she was young on how to control her emotions. The sisters had drilled the fact that there would be severe repercussions if Hermione acted out.
“I don’t like that you have to use a mask.”Andromeda hated that Hermione had to hide her emotions and feelings around people.
“It’s alright Andy I prefer people not knowing how I feel about things. They could just use it as leverage.”Hermione liked being able to protect herself.”Speaking of leverage. What happened with Draco? I heard he got released from the hospital ward but didn’t see him during any meals.”
“I spoke to Minerva as your guardian and we came up with a suitable punishment. That punishment being Draco is going to be resorted into another house and is not allowed to have any contact with you.”Narcissa liked that Draco was no longer in her house.
“I like that the scum is out of Slytherin. He should have never been put in our house top begin with.”Bella like Narcissa was happy Draco was out of her house.
“How did Draco take it?”Hermione didn’t think well.
“Minerva had a meeting with him and Lady Greengrass about it. She told me that Lady Greengrass was overly polite and apologized many times for Draco’s behavior. She also promised that Draco would behave and thanked Minerva for not expelling him. Minerva also told me that she silenced Draco’s outburst when he learned of his punishment. I think the woman realizes the seriousness of the situation the boy has found himself in and is trying to get on Minerva’s good side because she knows if Draco gets expelled no-one will help them try and get the Malfoy estate.”Narcissa expected that Draco was going to be kept on a short leash by his guardian.
“Did she mention her evidence to Minerva?”Andromeda asked.
Narcissa nodded.”She invited Minerva to her house for tea to go over everything she had. Minerva told her if she had evidence that proved both myself and Bellatrix committed crimes then Lady Greengrass was obligated to bring it to the ministry so that we could be held accountable for our crimes. That and all the people we helped get put in Azkaban could get new trails. When Lady Greengrass pushed for Minerva to be her point of contact our headmistresses refused on the grounds that she had no authority to be involved in such a thing. Minerva said that the woman was very angry and was trying hide it. Especially when Minerva offered to send some aurors to her home to collect the evidence.”
“That just confirms that she is trying to get Minerva to her house so she can drug her and get real evidence as she has none.”Bellatrix wasn’t worried about Lady Greengrass.
“I have no doubt she is very angry. Up until three days before school started she thought she had a surefire way to get access to the Malfoy estate. Even if it wasn’t right away she was guaranteed in the future to gain from it. Then she finds out that the boy she adopted for that very purpose isn’t really the heir meaning she lost her access. Add on to the fact that you three already claimed me so she has no way of getting her claws into me. Then there is the fact that Draco and his friends probably on her order got caught breaking into my room. Then you guys call her out about the fake evidence she has ruining her chance to actually get someone to go to her house to drug them and get real evidence and now the only chance she has to fight my claim on the Malfoy family is screwing up so bad that he is very close to getting expelled. Which if he did no one would back her or give her gold to fight me in court. Add onto that I bet the lawyers of some of the people you helped put away are likely going to put pressure on the ministry to get the evidence from her so that they can free their clients. I would hate to be Lady Greengrass right now.”Hermione said.
“You actually make good point Hermione. One we didn’t think of. Many of those people’s lawyers are likely going to be seeking her out to get the evidence. She is probably going to be overwhelmed with them contacting her and when she doesn’t respond like you said they will go to the ministry. The ministry will have to look into it because they won’t want the bad press if they ignore it.”Narcissa could easily see it playing out like that.
“We called her out and said she had nothing and was simply using it to try to blackmail us. If we wanted we could go to the ministry and press charges for blackmail. Cissa kept all the letters she has sent over the years so we have proof of her crime.”Bellatrix had wished she had thought of that years ago but it hadn’t really been an issue.
“I like the idea of that. Especially because we all know she isn’t done targeting Hermione. Initially she was trying to get Narcissa out of the way for access to the Malfoy estate now she is trying to get the three of us out of the way to get access to Hermione. She stupidly went about it by trying to get blackmail over her when instead she should have gone the way of having the children befriend her.”Andromeda would have had Dora try and be Hermione’s friend if she was in Lady Greengrass’ position.
“Speaking of friends. I quite enjoyed the howler Isabel sent her son.”Narcissa had the hardest time not laughing at how embarrassed the boy was when he got his mail and his mother’s voice filled the Great Hall for all to hear.
“I think we all enjoyed that. Especially when she went through each individual member of the group he hung out with telling everyone reasons why they weren’t suitable friends for a Zabini. I also liked the she gave us and Hermione a shout out.”Bellatrix unlike Narcissa had laughed at the boy.
“He looked a bit angry when it happened. Do you think he is going to listen to his mother or is going to target us as it’s obvious who told his mother about his friends?”Hermione asked. She ignored Bellatrix’s protests and stood from Bellatrix’s lap. Making her way over to Narcissa she took a seat on her lap then restarted her game.
Narcissa happily wrapped her arms around Hermione.”She threatened to disinherit him if he didn’t drop them as friends. Even if he feels the need to defy her he won’t be hanging around them any more. As for him targeting us. I’m not sure. If he does he will have to be careful because he knows his mother isn’t bluffing. She has disinherited people when the became a liability to her family. Him being her son won’t protect him.”
“I forgot to ask. What punishment did the group get for trying to break into Hermione’s room?”Andromeda asked.
“They are being given specialized punishment. The elves are going to get the night off from cleaning the kitchen and the group is going to stay as long as it takes to make it spotless. Not using any magic of course. Minerva is going to watch over them. I gave her a list things she needed and a demonstration how to clean a kitchen the muggle way. Something she was surprised I knew how to do.”Bellatrix had learned to clean a whole house the muggle way while living with the Grangers. She had also learned to clean a car and motorcycle as well. She had needed the knowledge to keep her personal car and motorcycle looking good. Her personal car being a convertible that she loved to take Hermione on rides in.
“That group of purebloods isn’t going to react well to cleaning the kitchen. Let alone cleaning the kitchen the muggle way.”Hermione didn’t they would cooperate.
“That’s why Minerva is the one watching over them. I wanted to volunteer but it wouldn’t be wise with how our relationship is with the group. They likely would say I abused them in some way.”Narcissa wanted to see the people who targeted Hermione get punished. It just wasn’t worth the headache it could cause if the children made up lies about her. Seeing Hermione yawn Narcissa looked at her watch.”It’s passed your bedtime you need ready for bed.”
Hermione sighed.”If it’s passed my bedtime that means you won’t read to me.”
“You know the rules.”Narcissa would prefer reading to Hermione but the girl would stay up to listen to the story and only fall asleep when one of the sisters put a stop to story time.
“Yeah I do.”Hermione shut down her Switch and with a huff got off of Narcissa’s lap.
Andromeda smiled as she watched Hermione drag her feet to her bedroom.”She’s so dramatic.”
“She got that from Cissa.”Bellatrix saw a lot of traits in Hermione that came from all three sisters.
“I’m not dramatic.”Narcissa was the least dramatic person she knew.
“Sure you aren’t Cissa.”Andromeda and the rest of the world knew how dramatic the youngest Black sister was. Her testimony at each trial proved it to the world.
Bellatrix stood.”I’m going to grab a book and head to bed myself.”
“I think I’m going to as well.”Andromeda also stood.
“After classes I’m going to pop home and grab Lady Greengrass’ letters and bring them to the ministry. The I’m going to give copies of them to our lawyer to release to the press. That will push this her having evidence situation forward faster. Meaning we can get the information about Dark Lord out sooner before Dumbledore gets back.”Narcissa hated that she would miss out on private time with Hermione but it was too important to put off.
“Talk to Hermione about your plan because she mention she forgot a couple things at home when she packed.”Andromeda told her.
“I’m very excited to see the fallout from this.”Bellatrix bet that a lot of people were going to very upset by the end of the next day.
“We all are and with that good night.”Narcissa said giving a wave over her shoulder to her sisters’ reply. It was the rule that the sister who spent the night with Hermione got the bathroom to get ready first and as it was Narcissa’s night that meant it was hers. Something she preferred because she hated having to wait for anything. Unless it had to do with Hermione. Then she didn’t mind waiting. Making her way into Hermione’s bedroom into her closet Narcissa thought about the day. Something definitely needed to be done about Pansy. The girl likely wouldn’t leave Hermione alone unless her mother told her to. Even Narcissa sending a letter to the woman was unlikely to get the girl to back off but Narcissa wanted a paper trail. Everything the sisters had done since the Dark Lord showed they documented. It was a habit they continued and the reason they didn’t throw away any letters that were signed. The even kept some of the unsigned ones if they were threatening. They did that so they had proof that what they claimed was real and the reason Lady Greengrass was going to be forced to admit that she was lying. The woman had sent dozens of threats to expose Narcissa and Bellatrix and the idiot signed each one and sealed them with her family crest. That gave the sisters all the proof they needed to get Lady Greengrass convicted of the crime. Thinking about the woman going to Azkaban make Narcissa smile.

I'm glad to see the Hermione relationship with her soulmates, the Black sisters, evolves. I can't wait to read the rest of the story. Also, I can't wait to see the reactions following the submission of evidence to the aurors and then to the journalist that the Greensgrass she is not loyal. That she tries to blackmail without evidence. The scandal! Especially if the auror uses the truth potion about Dumbeldore and confesses that what Hermione said and the evidence of Minerva and the Black sisters are true. I am sure that he will be officially removed from office. I admit that Minerva as director of Hogwarts has more impact and above all much more credible! Even the familiar Phoenix is with Hermione, which is enough evidence to show that Dumbeldore is lying about "the next lord of darkness" when he talks about Hermione. I can't wait to read more to find out all this and much more. Thanks for the updates!

Rereading this, I love how Hermione finally called out Pansy about all her questions. It’ll be interesting to see what happens next.
