Andromeda wasn’t surprised that it was well known throughout the school that Hermione got in trouble. Hermione was the most famous student in the school everything related to her would be gossiped about. Looking to the girl in question Andromeda noticed that Hermione had once again been joined by Pansy. Andromeda didn’t approve of the girl speaking to Hermione. The subjects the girl refused to talk about were more than telling as most of them were anything that made her family look bad or anything about the war. She hadn’t even told Hermione the names of her parents.
“I made her late but Bella gave her the detention so that the other children didn’t think they could get away with coming in late.”Andromeda told her.
“It wouldn’t be good if the students thought you have favorites. Although it’s obvious that Hermione is all three of yours.”Minerva would have to be blind and deaf not to see how much the three sisters loved Hermione and how much Hermione loved each sister back.
“She will be yours soon enough.”Narcissa predicted that Hermione would win over Minerva in no time.
Minerva smirked.”I don’t have favorites.”
“That’s a damn lie.”Bellatrix had been one of Minerva’s favorites.
“Speaking of favorites how did you handle our least two favorites?”Andromeda asked.
“I sent letters to their guardians about their escalating behavior and warned both boys that if they kept it up they would be expelled.”Minerva wasn’t going to allow the boys to behave as they had been without severe consequences.
“How is the investigation into Dumbledore going?”Narcissa wanted to know if they found anything yet.
“We haven’t started. We could use all three of your help if you could. No one wants to get involved and I can’t justify requesting aurors over this.”Minerva didn’t even know where to start with the investigation.”One thing of interest is Fawkes is still here. Hootch said that Dumbledore tried to take him but the bird refused to go. I have been feeding it but I don’t know what to do about him.”
“It is said that Phoenixes only attach themselves to people who are trustworthy, honorable and have a pure heart. Maybe Fawkes doesn’t see Dumbledore as a worthy person to give his loyalty to anymore.”Bellatrix could easily see Dumbledore losing his familiar’s loyalty.
“Should we let him out of the office? Maybe he wants to go off on his own now.”Phoenixes liked to have a purpose. Andromeda didn’t think that Fawkes’ purpose was sitting in an office.
“That might be a good idea.”Minerva would let him out later.
“When do you want to start this investigation?”Narcissa hoped soon.
“We can start after classes tomorrow by meeting in the headmaster’s office.”Minerva suggested.
Bellatrix frowned thinking about leaving Hermione alone all afternoon.”What about Hermione?”
“That’s a good point we can’t leave her alone that long. She won’t like it.”Andromeda didn’t want Hermione to be alone at all.
“We will have to take turns on who stays with her while the other two investigate.”Narcissa would be more than happy to have a few hours alone with Hermione.
“I’m torn. I don’t want to miss out on time with Hermione but I really want to help.”Bellatrix wished she could be in two places at once.”Is there anyway Hermione can bring a book and read while we search through his stuff?”
Minerva was shocked by how upset the sisters seemed to be about being away from Hermione. Their relationship was a lot closer than she realized.”It wouldn’t be appropriate for her to be there.”
“That’s to bad.”Andromeda just like Bellatrix wished she could be in two places at once.
“Another thing that we forgot to bring up is we would like your permission to take Hermione to Gringotts on Saturday for her to claim ownership of Salazar’s vault.”Narcissa also wanted to see the contents.
“You being her guardian are more than welcome to take her. As for you two just make sure any duties you have are covered.”Minerva herself was curious about the contents of the vault.
“I don’t think Poppy will mind.”Andromeda bet the woman would agree just to find out what was in the vault.
“I don’t have any duties.”Bellatrix had only signed up for the dueling club so far for the year.
“Here comes the owls again.”Narcissa said watching as a group of owls flew towards Hermione. At least three of them carrying packages.”She got packages.”
“You two done eating?”Andromeda wanted to know right away what was in those packages.
Bellatrix shoved a few forkfuls of food in her mouth and chewed quickly.”I’m done.
“Let’s go.”Narcissa didn’t wait for a reply before standing from her seat and making her way over to Hermione. The girl in question was feeding all the owls on the table in front of her.”We need to get you some bags of owl treats.”
“That would be nice because the poor creatures deserve to be fed for doing such a good job.”Hermione gave meat to the last owl then looked back at her soulmates.
“Let’s see the pile pet.”Bellatrix stepped forward and began stacking all of Hermione’s mail. She didn’t bother looking at the names of the senders because they would be finding out in few minutes.
“I got packages today.”Hermione was not happy about that.
“I know you don’t want people giving you things so we will make sure all gifts are sent back.”Andromeda made sure she said that loud enough so most of Great Hall could hear it.
“Is there a way to block any packages from coming to me at all?”Hermione asked.
“We will look into it. Now are you done eating?”Narcissa saw there was still some food on Hermione’s plate.
Hermione nodded”I’m still full from lunch.”
“Come on then.”Bellatrix balanced the pile and put her hand on Hermione’s shoulder pulling her up from her seat.
“Bye Pansy.”Hermione said before following after the sisters.
“Bye.”Pansy called after her. Another useful piece of information she was going to give to her mother was that Hermione did not like gifts.
Andromeda looked over her shoulder catching Pansy watching them. Turning back to her sisters and Hermione she spoke.”I don’t like that girl.”
“I don’t like her either.”Hermione didn’t like Pansy at all.
Narcissa wrapped her arm around Hermione’s shoulder and led her into the hallway nodding her head in thanks to the girl who held the door open for them.”What did you talk about this time?”
“This time she was asking questions about my relationship with you three. She was very interested in knowing the amount of access you would get to my houses when I claimed my titles. Every time I would change the subject she would bring it back to that and when she wasn’t talking about that she kept trying to find out how we knew each other.”Hermione had been extremely annoyed with the girl.
“She isn’t really being that sneaky with her intentions is she?”Bellatrix would have thought a Slytherin would have been a little more careful.
“I asked her outright who her parents were and she ignored the question completely and replied by asking me how long I’ve known you three. I know she heard me because she was looking right at me and after I asked the question she flinched.”Hermione didn’t think Pansy actually wanted to be her friend.
“Just continue to be polite and tell her nothing. No matter the question don’t answer it. The less information she and everyone has about you the better.”Narcissa wished there was a way for her to keep Pansy away from Hermione but unless the girl attacked Hermione nothing could be done.
“It’s to bad we can’t just have picnics together every meal.”Hermione would love to have private meals with her soulmates.
“We will figure something out.”Andromeda would have to visit the kitchens and speak to the elves before she made any plans.
Hermione stepped away from Narcissa and gave Andromeda a hug.”Thanks Andy.”
“You’re welcome sweetheart.”Andromeda pulled out of the hug and put her arm over Hermione’s shoulders so they were walking side by side.
“What classes do you have tomorrow?”Bellatrix asked.
“I have flying in the morning and charms in the afternoon.”Hermione was looking forward to flying.
“You will get to test out your new broom finally.”Andromeda had bought Hermione the most expensive top of the line model of broom on the market to have for school. The sisters had not let Hermione ride it for fear she may crash it before school started.
“I’m very excited about that.”Hermione had been begging since Andromeda gave her the broom to take it out for a ride.
“The first class you don’t get to do much other than call your broom so we will have to take you out on an official ride this weekend.”Now that Narcissa didn’t have to play the role of perfect pureblood wife she could do the things she enjoyed like riding on a broom and playing quidditch.
“I would like that.”Hermione would be happy to go flying with her soulmates.
“Chipmunk.”Bellatrix called out causing the door to the Slytherin dorms to open.”We will have to see about maybe putting together a quidditch pick up game with the other students.”
“That could be fun.”Andromeda thought playing on a full team would be fun.
Hermione opened the door to her room and ushered the sisters inside following after them. She secured the door and set her bag on the kitchen table.”I’m hoping one of those packages is from the Prewett brothers and contains books about the Prewett family.”
“Let’s start with these five packages.”Bellatrix set them all out on the coffee table. She then pulled out her wand and preformed detection spells on each of them.”Three of these are cursed in some way.”
“Do you know the curses?”Narcissa had expected Hermione to be sent dangerous things in the mail.
Bellatrix shook her head.”I’ll need to actually look at them.”
“Hermione go into your bedroom and don’t come out until we tell you.”Andromeda waited for Hermione to follow her instructions before warding the bedroom door heavily.
“I’ll start with this one. Cissa would you open it?”Bellatrix asked.
“Tell me when you are ready.”Narcissa said.
“Ready.”Bellatrix pointed her wand at the package keeping a close eye on it. When a necklace with a family crest pendent was revealed she cast a dozen spells on it.”The curse was on the pendant but the clasp was spelled to never be opened once closed. The pendant itself was meant to make the wearer a slave to the person who gave it them. They would have had complete control of Hermione and it wouldn’t have been easy to break the curse.”
“Who sent this?!”Andromeda demanded.
Narcissa picked up the letter attached to the box.”Lady Carrow sent it as a gesture of friendship and has invited Hermione to her manor to have tea.”
“I’ll fucking kill her!!”Bellatrix was not going to allow anyone to make Hermione their slave.
“Slow down both of you. We can’t kill her.”Narcissa held up a hand.”I want to too but even though we know she sent the necklace on purpose she can claim that she didn’t know that it was cursed. That means we can’t have her arrested or sued.”
“So she just gets away with this?”Andromeda did not like that.
“No of course not. I’ll write her back and tell her I think it’s rather rude of her to try to enslave an eleven year old girl. Then I’m going to tell her that the Carrow family will not be doing any business with any of Hermione’s houses in the future when Hermione takes over. All due to this insult.”Narcissa knew that would piss Lady Carrow off a lot because the Lestrange and Malfoy families did a lot of business with them. Narcissa would have cut ties when Lucius went to prison but she didn’t have any authority over the estate.
“That’s going to hurt her vault.”Bellatrix wanted to kill the woman but taking away any chance she would have had to align with 7 pureblood houses was just as good.
“And her pride. Hermione is officially cutting ties with her and taking all her influence and power with her.”Andromeda bet the woman would be regretting sending the necklace for the rest of her life.
“I’m afraid to find out what the next one is.”Narcissa said.
“Open the one next to it.”Bellatrix told Narcissa. Keeping her wand pointed at the package Bellatrix felt her blood boil seeing the contents. Casting numerous spells Bellatrix lunged for the package once she was done. Noticing the other contents she growled.”I want this person arrested.”
“What is it Bella?”Andromeda couldn’t see from where she was standing.
“This man Glen Slack sent her sex toys laced with a love potion that mades the victim fall in love with a specific person. There is also a bunch of muggle porn magazines.”Bellatrix wasn’t surprised when Andromeda smashed one the kitchen table chairs on the wall breaking it.
“I’ll castrate him!”Andromeda was going to do horrible things to that man.
“We will hand deliver all of that to the aurors on Saturday.”Narcissa wanted to make sure something was done about the man.
“He tells her in his letter to sneak out of the castle and meet him on the edge of the Forbidden Forest at midnight. I’m staying with Hermione tonight but maybe you two should go for a midnight stroll.”Bellatrix suggested.
“I think that’s a brilliant idea don’t you Cissa?”Andromeda would happily meet up with the man who thought he could take sexual advantage of Hermione.
“Last curse.”Bellatrix pulled out her wand and pointed it at the box.”Open it Cissa.”
Narcissa started unwrapping the box becoming confused when inside all she found was a seed.”It’s a seed.”
“What kind of seed?”Andromeda asked.
“Don’t touch it.”Bellatrix began casting spells over it until she figured out what it was then set it on fire. As it burned a male voice screamed in agony.
“What the fuck was that?”Andromeda had never seen a seed react like that before.
“Spy equipment.”Bellatrix picked up the letter.”The person claims that when the seed is planted that the way to make it grow is to talk to it. In reality the seed is a microphone that broadcasts everything it hears to whoever we heard screaming.”
“Those definitely have to be illegal.”Narcissa didn’t think the ministry woulds allow those to be sold to the public.
Bellatrix read the letter then looked over the box.”No name of the sender and the letter just says they thought that Hermione could use a trustworthy friend while dealing with her new fame.”
“People are disgusting.”Andromeda couldn’t believe how terrible society really was.
“I want to open the last two packages before we call Hermione back in. Then I don’t want to open any packages in front of her again.”Narcissa didn’t want Hermione to be exposed to anything like the three they already opened.
“I’ll take this one.”Bellatrix grabbed a small box. She unwrapped it finding a ring box, opening the box she rolled her eyes.”This person thinks Hermione would marry him based on this ring.”
Andromeda looked the ring over.”It’s not even real gold or diamonds.”
“He claims he spent a year’s pay buying it. That is how serious he is about marrying Hermione.”Bellatrix wouldn’t even buy it for Hermione if it was real. The ring was small and gaudy. When Bellatrix picked out a ring for Hermione it was going to be bigger than her Slytherin ring and decked out in rare and expensive jewels.
“This is a very ugly hat that was made by a hat designer that wants Hermione to wear the hat in public and tell people where she got it. In return for this sponsorship the woman is willing to take five percent off the price of the hat but all future hats are full price.”Narcissa was going to burn the hat.
Andromeda easily caught on to what Narcissa was thinking.”Where are we burning it?”
“We get to burn it?”Bellatrix asked.
“Yes we are burning it. It isn’t worth our owls’ effort to return it. That and she is trying to take advantage of Hermione. She deserves to have her hat burned.”Narcissa explained.
“Fine with me. I’m always up for burning shit.”Bellatrix didn’t care what they were burning just that she got to burn it.
“Put all that stuff away so Hermione can come back out.”Andromeda didn’t want Hermione to see any of it.
“Good idea.”Bellatrix began shoving it all in the large bag hanging from her belt.
Once done Andromeda took down the wards on Hermione’s bedroom then opened the door. Catching sight of Hermione sitting up, fully clothed with a book on her lap made her smile. Andromeda quietly stepped out of the room and shut the door.”She’s sleeping.”
“Cast some silencing spells on her door. I want to rearrange the room. You two can go over letters while I do it.”Bellatrix stood from her seat and started walking around the room taking mental notes on the space.
“Do you think we could actually each have our own private spaces in here?”Narcissa asked as she grabbed one of the letters and opened it.
“Well we only really need our own bedrooms because we have the lounge area, the sitting room, kitchen, dining room, office, bathroom and the library. I would have separated Hermione’s bedroom in half but we all like having a lot of space when we are with her.”Bellatrix said.
Andromeda took a seat on the couch and grabbed a letter.”I don’t really care how big of a bedroom I get. I just want to stay in here.”
“I found out what Ted’s angle is.”Narcissa told them.
“She got a letter from Ted?”Bellatrix asked.
“Yes and his angle is that he is Hermione’s biological father and that Hermione was magically adopted by her parents. Apparently Andy hates him so much that she kept them apart all this time. He asks her not to tell us that he wrote her because we would just tell Hermione lies to ruin their relationship. He tells her all about himself and what a respectable wizard he is. After singing his own praises he asks Hermione to transfer some gold into his vault to get him through the rough patch he is going through at the moment.”Narcissa shook her head at the stupidity.
Bellatrix laughed.”That is the first time someone tried to claim Hermione was biologically one of ours. Not even Molly believed it.”
“Besides her curly hair Hermione looks nothing like the three of us or Nymphadora. She does look like Jean and Denis though. It doesn’t matter Ted played his hand and it was a foolish one. I will be having our lawyer send him a formal reply informing him he is not Hermione’s father.”Andromeda wanted it to be official.
“She will enjoy doing that.”Narcissa could imagine the smile their lawyer would have on her face writing that reply.
“This letter is from what they claim is an animal rescue. They want Hermione to give them a lot of gold to fund their cause. However they don’t give the name of the rescue and say that it would be impossible for Hermione to visit it. They also can’t send pictures of it because the cameras scare the animals.”Andromeda put that letter in the reply pile.
“This person wants Hermione to give them the gold needed to publish their book now even though they haven’t started writing it yet.”Narcissa also put that one in the reply pile.
Bellatrix began rearranging the furniture.”It makes me happy that at least one of us or Dora will be with Hermione whenever she goes out in public because she likely will gather a crowd of those types of losers everywhere she goes.”
“How soon do you think Gerold is going to get expelled?”Andromeda asked as she picked up another letter.
“His mother is desperate but she isn’t completely stupid. She knows that he has to make allies if he wants help securing his claim. All he has been doing is pissing people off since he got here and if he gets expelled no one is going to want anything to do with him. I think because of that the woman is going to tell him to behave. Whether or not he will listen is a whole other issue.”Narcissa didn’t think Gerold would behave himself.
“She only has herself to blame for his behavior. She only had him to get get her hands on the Black family estate and she told him his whole life that the title was his and one day he would be in charge. She also made him hate us because we didn’t support them and give them the life a proper pureblood matriarch and the heir deserved. If she had been a decent woman who raised a good person then we might have helped.”Bellatrix wouldn’t have shunned her own family.
“She ruined any chance for us to help her when she sued us for child support when the boy was six months old. She didn’t even send us a letter or ask for help. She just sued us.”Andromeda had no respect for the woman or her son.
“She and her son unfortunately are going to be ongoing problems in the future.”Narcissa said.
“Hermione told him that she was going to disinherit him the same day she gained her titles.”Bellatrix had been proud of Hermione for standing up for herself.”He replied by saying it was actually him that was going to disinherit her.”
“Too bad for him even if he gets the Head of Household title before Hermione she can’t be disinherited by him. Hermione’s claim is stronger and he doesn’t have the authority to take Hermione’s title from her.”Andromeda wasn’t worried about Gerold doing anything.
“He’s only two days older than Hermione anyway and he has no training with Black family magic. He wouldn’t even know how to disinherit someone from our family and no one would be able to help him because the Black family prides itself on using family magic for everything.”Narcissa and her sisters wouldn’t help the boy either.
Bellatrix swung her wand casting spells causing walls to form in front of her.”The boy likes to brag about his Black blood but from what I have seen he doesn’t have strong magic.”
“I haven’t seen him cast any spells but I can’t pick up any kind of magical aura around him.”Narcissa didn’t pick up anything magical about Gerold at all. Looking down at the letter in her hands she shook her head.”Another illegitimate child but this time one of Lucius’.”
“Those ones aren’t even worth the effort to reply to.”Andromeda said.
“How big do you each want your beds?”Bellatrix called out from behind the wall.
“The one in my quarters is fine.”Narcissa would use Hermione’s bed if she wanted to stretch out.
“Mine is fine as well.”Andromeda had the same thought as Narcissa. If she wanted to lounge around in bed she would use Hermione’s.
“Hermione got a letter from a woman that is willing to give her lessons on how to be a proper pureblood housewife. For the woman to prepare for Hermione’s lessons she would need access to all of Hermione’s vaults and every one of her properties.”Narcissa thought it was a clever scam.
“With her link to us it’s pretty obvious that Hermione wouldn’t be interested in being a proper pureblood housewife.”Bellatrix didn’t know how anyone would think that would entice Hermione.
“I think some people are under the impression that Hermione doesn’t spend time with us willingly. They likely think we force our presence on the girl.”Narcissa smiled when both her sisters laughed.
“If Hermione had it her way we all would be with her every second of everyday.”Andromeda liked that Hermione was so attached to her and her sisters.
“If I had it my way we would.”Bellatrix would love to be with her soulmate all day.
“I got one here from a man who is trying to arrange a marriage between Hermione and his son. Instead of listing the reasons the son would be a good match for Hermione he lists the reasons Hermione would be a good match for his son. All those reason are related to Hermione giving him gold to do things.”Andromeda put the letter on the reply pile.
“This one is from a man that is claiming that someone is holding his vault ransom and if Hermione pays the ransom he will give her half the gold in his vault.”Narcissa added it to the reply pile as well.
Bellatrix exited one of the three new doors she built.”Come check out these rooms.”
“Where are we going to put our clothes?”Andromeda thought the room would be comfortable.
“Hermione’s closet is more than big enough for all our clothing.”Narcissa was alright with the size of the room.
“Now all we need to do is officially move in and figure out a way for the three of to have access to the door without Hermione having to let us in.”Bellatrix was happy that they could stay with Hermione but hated that they didn’t have a way to come and go as they pleased.
“You know we haven’t really looked around the room. There could be keys somewhere in here. Ones that Hermione is the only one who has access to.”Andromeda suggested.
“We will have to get her to look tomorrow after classes end.”Bellatrix said.
“Speaking of which I’ll spend the afternoon with her tomorrow while you two help the investigation.”Narcissa wanted to be the one because she wanted to look around Salazar’s workroom.
“I promised I would take her swimming tomorrow.”Andromeda was going to arrange for them to have a private dinner afterwards.
“Then I will have the next day.”Narcissa wasn’t going to interfere with Hermione doing an activity she enjoyed. Especially because Hermione ran every morning with Narcissa.
“That’s fine. I want to get working on the investigation because I know Hermione is just as interested in what we will find as I am.”Bellatrix and Hermione had many discussions on what they thought Dumbledore hid in his office and Bellatrix knew that even if Hermione would miss her the girl would want Bellatrix to personally investigate even if it took time away from her.
“We have a plan. Now Bella why don’t you get ready for bed and then get Hermione settled. I think it will be ok if she doesn’t brush her teeth just this once so just put her in pajamas and tuck her in.”Narcissa didn’t want to wake Hermione up just to brush her teeth.
“Her hair is going to be a mess in the morning.”Andromeda knew from experience if Hermione didn’t take care of her hair before she went to bed it turned into a wild bush of thick curls.
“I’ll braid it for her when we go running and Bella can help her with it after she takes a bath.”Narcissa was looking forward to using Hermione’s bathtub again. It had been heavenly using it that morning after coming back from her run. A lot better than using the one in her quarters the first morning they were at Hogwarts.
Bellatrix sighed happily.”Once we move in here we can use the bathtub whenever we want without having to carry all our personal hygiene items across the castle.”
“I would really like not to have to use the one in my quarters anymore. I can’t stay in it long or I start to panic.”Andromeda always felt like the walls were closing in on her when she was in the bathtub in her quarters.
“Well I can confirm that Hermione’s is even better than the ones we have in each of our bathrooms at the Granger’s.”Narcissa told them.
“Now I’m even more excited.”Bellatrix loved the bathtub at the Grangers. It had something called jets that Bellatrix enjoyed. She also enjoyed the rainfall shower that had water coming from many areas of the shower itself not just from overhead. On hot days when Hermione was younger she and Bellatrix would put on their bathing suits and play under the cold water in that shower. Some of Bellatrix’s favorite memories were of those times. When they finally chose their permanent family home Bellatrix was going to have at least one of those types of showers installed so she could play with her own children the same way she played with Hermione in it.
“I think we are going to stay here and read through the rest of these letters until it’s time to take that stroll in the forest.”Andromeda was feeling protective of Hermione knowing that a threat was coming so close to her. Just the idea of being away from her until it was time to take care of the man made her panicky.
“Do what you want to him then wipe his mind. Just make sure there are no witnesses before you do.”Bellatrix didn’t want them to get caught.
“At least we know Hermione will approve of our actions.”Narcissa felt lucky that Hermione understood that life wasn’t black and white. When the sisters explained that the man was a sexual predator targeting her Hermione likely would have more extreme suggestions on how they should have punished him. Their soulmate had no patience for those who targeted other people without having a good reason for it. That being something her parents, the sisters and Nymphadora taught her was the most despicable thing a people could do was to attack someone unprovoked. That or attack someone weak and defenseless. A lesson that Hermione took to heart.
“The girl is smart and she had good people teaching her about how the world really works.”Andromeda said.
“I’m going to go take care of our soulmate. It’s been a while since one of us has had to put her in her pajamas. She is going to be so embarrassed when she wakes up in the morning and notices.”Bellatrix was looking forward to all the blushing and stammering.
“Don’t give her to hard of a time I don’t her to flustered to talk while we are running.”Narcissa enjoyed her runs with Hermione because it gave the pair private time to check in with each other without her sisters around. It was the only time that Narcissa let her guard fully down as even around her sister Narcissa kept some walls up. Not with Hermione though. Narcissa was fully herself when alone with her soulmate
“She will be fine.”Bellatrix wasn’t going to hold back on teasing. Making her way to Hermione’s bedroom Bellatrix pulled out her wand and undid the wards and silencing spells. Opening the door she shook her head. There was no way Hermione was comfortable in that position. Andromeda should have at least laid her down on the bed. Shutting the door behind her Bellatrix quietly approached Hermione’s side and picked up the book she was reading. Seeing the title she smiled. It was a copy of the children’s book the sisters wrote. Hermione usually read it when she was missing them. Bellatrix would have to talk to her sisters about doing more activities with Hermione and dealing with the letters and other drama when they were without her. Hermione was likely feeling neglected. Not that the girl would tell them that because she wouldn’t want to upset them. Waving her wand over Hermione Bellatrix vanished her clothes except for her underwear and bra then summoned her pajamas which consisted of a pair of shorts and for that night Bellatrix’s quidditch jersey. Well one of the many replicas Bellatrix had made so Hermione had extras if one of them was ruined. Once dressed Bellatrix tucked Hermione under the covers and then changed into her own pajamas. On nights she slept with Hermione they were a lot more tame but Bellatrix didn’t care about the extra fabric. It was the only acceptable way to sleep in the same bed as the girl. Deciding that she could skip her nightly routine as well Bellatrix slid under the blankets and used her wand to turn out the lights then laid down. She smiled when she felt Hermione immediately roll over and cuddle into her body. Closing her eyes Bellatrix’s last thought before sleep took was how much she was looking forward to Hermione claiming her titles and them finally picking their permeant home.
