FEMTO (WIP)
🕑 Added 2023-01-29 18:01:40 +0000 UTCSo this is one of two larger pieces i've been working on in the background between game stuff, although it's taking a while and it's been a bit since I touched it. Done in the aftermath of the resumption of Berserk's serialization, this is a revisit (I've painted him before) of Griffith's "Femto" incarnation from Berserk.
I've been endlessly fascinated by the mechanics of his body as depicted by Miura - trying to determine what's biological, what's inorganic "Armor", how best to depict the flexile quality of his muscle. I love depicting Femto with the streaks of bloody "afterbirth" on the gloss surface of his chitin, it feels very raw to me.
