I appreciate you sending them in order, great stuff and I do love the Progression.. her vocals, stagecraft, musicianship, songwriting, all of it has grown and been mastered considerably through the journey and it is very easy to see .. and she is an artist that many other artists here in the States could learn quite a bit from.. IMHO!!

What you were saying about progression is exactly why I wanted to make you watch all her concerts in order, haha. I mean… Can you imagine like… How do I put this? See, I’m the same age as her. (…or near enough.) When I was 17, she was 17. She was singing about high school when I was a high schooler. She wrote “22” when I was 22 and eating breakfast at midnight with my college buddies. I don’t know how to explain the experience of having her music grow to match my life over and over again, spending 17 years watching this development in slow motion. As soon as I had a traumatic relationship with a man ten years my senior, she had a whole album about that exact experience. I think a lot of people my age have this sense of growing up together and Taylor’s music being the soundtrack to our lives in a way. Because she wasn’t afraid to try new things and kept pushing herself as an artist and a songwriter. I’m not sure there’s any conveying an experience like that, honestly, but I’m glad that the plan I concocted for having you watch her concerts in order at least gave you a taste of it. I just think the Eras Tour is such a brilliant celebration of that growth. I almost want to play her Fearless performance from her Fearless Tour alongside the one from the Eras Tour, haha. That kinda thing. I would watch the rest, but I gotta sleep. I had to put things on pause when my daughter got home from school, and I watched this once she finally hit the hay, haha.
