Weekly Post | Gearing up for Release
🕑 Added 2023-08-25 16:00:10 +0000 UTCHey there dear patrons,
In this week's edition of the weekly post, we're excited to show you more of our upcoming release, the Gavril T-Series Expansion Pack: Racing Add-On.
Let's dive right into it, shall we?
Gavril T-Series Expansion Pack: Racing Add-On
This week has been incredibly good! We've had tremendous progress on our new upcoming release and we have it mostly ready for release. Just a few minor final additions left to do, and our new product is ready to hit the shelves.
There are a few points of interest we'd love to talk about! For example, the interior is based on the vanilla interior of the Gavril T-Series, as its design is so simple, it might as well have been a racing interior to begin with. We took that, removed a few unneeded things (because let's face it, you don't need blinkers on the racetrack), gave it a brand-new set of 8K textures, and now it's more beautiful than ever.
One unique aspect of this interior is that it is our first interior with colorable parts (As so wonderfully demonstrated in the images above) which gives it a racing-oriented feel. The metal isn't only plain old paint, there's an actual texture on it which just makes the whole thing a bit more well made.
There are going to be at least 2 liveries, one of which has already been implemented and the other will be implemented throughout the weekend, giving us a total of 3 available configs to choose from at release!
Gavril T-Series Expansion Pack
During the week we pushed out a compatibility patch for the Gavril T-Series Expansion Pack. For all the parts we wanted to work properly, we had to change some things with the engines in the main mod to make that work. Coincidentally, it also helped us fix the issue of engine tuning besides turbos not having any affect at all. win-win!
Final Note
The past week has been a successful one, however we did work a lot of overtime. Thankfully, that's now over! We hope to continue work at a more relaxed and comfortable pace, one that doesn't tire our lead developer out.
Stay tuned for the coming Monday, August 28th, as we will be live on our YouTube channel to display the racing truck in action before, during, and after release, as well as to answer any potential questions you might have!
That's it for this week folks!
Yours sincerely,
- the GTG Mods Team
❤️
