Hi @everyone,
I am pleased to inform you that the GTG Mods Team will exit the Doomsday Protocol on Monday the 10th of January, 2022. This means that we'll at least be partially up and running with an up to 35% efficiency compared to before. This means that the upcoming mod updates will not be as major as intended and that a lot of delays could be there. Basically, a staged protocol of some sort that is yet to be created and documented.
I personally have moved into my new dorm room yesterday. The place is pretty nice if you ask me. The point I'm trying to make here is that I still have to get the SCM (Source Code Management (Our files server)) up and running. I'm trying to make that happen sometime this week. I'm still in the middle of the moving process.
What's the recovery timeline for 2022?
I am aiming to get the game servers back online sometime in Q1 2022. I'm expecting to have a new system rebuilt by Q3 2022 or Q4 2022. There are going to be some major changes happening in 2022. From inside protocols and management to establish a proper network for the entire team to access.
Will you ever implement the Doomsday protocol again?
I'm hoping to never need to go as far as to implement the Doomsday Protocol again. Events such as these are detrimental to us, as proven by the statistics of last month.
What is the first update to come after the Doomsday Protocol ends?
The next planned update is scheduled for the Gavril Barstow F2 on the 3rd of February, 2022.
Will you actively work on the Patreon Exclusive Works this year?
Yes. We will. We're trying to get the packs ready accordingly to both lure traffic and get it available once the goals are met on Patreon.
If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to ask @Founder or @Co-Founder.
Yours sincerely,
- Gregory
