I think you’re overthinking it. Bao Hui had fox-like eyes, Tian Zhu had emotionless eyes, and Lei Zheng had firm and fierce eyes, but they were all black. Whenever an avatar had eyes of a different color, I always made a point to describe it. The girls haven’t had time to develop personalities yet, so I’m just describing their physical features and Aotian’s own reactions. As for phoenix eyes, those are common descriptions for xianxia characters. I’m just being authentic.

For any of the male elders you'd just write that they'd rubbed their chin in thought - and that works great. The way you are writing the female avatars is weirdly sexualised for no discernible reason. Because of the way it is written just feels like the author is getting off on the characters. It's really uncomfortable to read. If it helps as a literary tool, just write and imagine them all as though they're men and then swap the hes and hims with shes and hers, because I don't know if I can continue reading if this is going to be how all of the female avatars are written going forward. I don't even get why such a big deal needed to be made out of there being female avatars in the first place tbh. Edit: I hope it's clear that none of my criticism is malicious. I didn't read two hundred and fifty five chapters of this story and spend months throwing money at you because I dislike it or anything. I didn't write out this much text to be mean - I did so because I enjoy the story and this one thing just sucks all of the enjoyment out. I like the world and stuff, but the way you write women, sexualised and objectified for their appearance more or less 100% of the time, like they are an entirely different type of being to the male characters, is really uncomfortable. You don't describe how curvy men are, or how red their lips are, or anything like that, so doing every time a woman does anything stands out and feels gross.
