She finally allowed a gentle smile to bloom on both her faces, resting their heads against her husband's chest.
"Just promise me that if the technique ever harms you, you won't hesitate to stop using it," she whispered softly.
His embrace tightened.
"Don't worry, just trust your husband," he assured her.
"Humm…" she murmured softly in agreement.
What she didn't know was just how terrifyingly powerful the technique had become in Aotian's hands.

He fears revealing it because he does not know the origin of the system or whether it could be harmful for her to know. Honestly, kinda feel like by this point, Aotian should have already confided in Rihai about his secret, or at least part of it. Especially now that she might have doubts about how her technique might be holding him back from gaining an Epiphany. She's already told him about her special physique and family secrets, and I feel he should have told her about him having multiple bodies too after her body was split in two.
