There's an event chain during which you help him with his "dream". Actually, it's not just "help a cute critter acquire something": Suwash decided that the only way to stop the local pirates from harassing his family is to become a pirate himself, moreover, a pirate captain. You help him kill the "bad" captain, take his place, and the rest of pirates becomes "good" and loyal to Suwash. x'D Isn't it precious.
As for the picture itself, it's highly experimental! I tried a different painting style, not sure if the result looks good to you, but I enjoyed doing this. \;w;/
I'll look at the picture one more time once I'm awake, maybe will edit something. Maybe not~
