🕑 Added 2021-04-29 16:54:01 +0000 UTCI think it's about time I made this post, since tomorrow's the last day of April and the monthly fanart still isn't there. You may have noticed that I'm getting slower with these, less personal art overall. Several patrons have noticed it so well that they've already left, which, honestly, stings a lot from my viewpoint. Why?
My sleep quality hasn't 100% recovered after last year's stuff, lately (~2 months) it's gotten worse again, for virtually no reason. There were a few stressful events but none justify my complete inability to sleep for full 8-9 hours consistently, which destroys my brain and mood. I've put a lot of effort into giving myself the best possible sleeping conditions, still it's not helping much. I've stopped daily workout last year and haven't been able to keep it up this year, because duh, bad sleep, I'm nearly fainting, what workout.
So these issues have been snowballing on themselves, with me trying to chase and stop the snowball somehow. It's been rough. To add to it, I realize how small of a problem it is, I have more important things to worry about, I have personal plans for the summer, and work plans like the upcoming "May adopt-a-day", so I've been feeling irritated, like there are constant sticks in my wheels.
To sum it up, past months were sort of unreasonably difficult for me, I'm a vegetable like 95% of the time, I can draw only in short bursts when I feel better, and the length of these bursts isn't enough. I wanna draw but can't. There's nothing you can do to help, I'm doing my best but I can't give any estimates on when my situation's gonna improve. It's completely fair and understandable if you wanna unpledge before the 1st. I'm hoping to finish April's fanart sometime during the first week of May. Thanks for all your selfless support guys u_u/
Edit: did this after catching myself staring at my own toyhouse. I miss them too :I
