Wow! Remind me why I love Eric Clapton! What you touched on here really is the connection Claptonโs songs have with his emotions. And the tragic events in his life; sometimes self imposed and sometimes a matter of fate. And it seems he dealt with it all, with music. I agree Tears in Heaven is the saddest song. I love that you included the live version of Why Does Love Got to be So Sad, always a favorite of mine! A great play list. Whatever Claptonโs problems are, his gift to us of his music counter balances all of that! Heโs a brilliant player, songwriter. I love My Fatherโs Eyes.
