Extra content for January
Beyond the new toys scene, I wanted to add a little more so I wrote and added a new short scene I'd been thinking of with Nobuko giving Shizu some cooking tips. Then I also programmed in a short Shizu conversation topic that I'd been meaning to add for a while.
Neither is a huge feature, but I always want to keep these releases rewarding.
Nose to the grindstone for three months of releases
I've been working hard over this week, because as I think I previously mentioned I've made a plan now to try to finish the work for the next three releases (January, February and March) before Christmas. I'll talk more about what'll be in those future releases over the next couple of months when they're closer to coming out.
The reason this would be so valuable is that it would buy me more time to work in the way that I work best - a more relaxed creative process in which I can play around with longer term content ideas and build larger features.
I'd also like a little bit of a break over the holiday, of course, but to get that I've got to make the content first, so I'm hard at work!
Posts over the holidays
I'll probably skip the next two weekly preview posts and post about game progress again on the 9th of January, but I've scheduled some posts to go up in the intervening time that I hope you enjoy instead. :)
The game release should happen just after the start of the month (and new year) as usual.
