Update - Mika borrows a couple of things from Nobuko

Mac build problems
It turns out that as of the new engine updates to VN Maker, I can no longer easily make Mac builds. Long story short, I don't have a Mac and the way things are set up at the moment, Mac builds kind of need to be created on a Mac.
Currently I'm working on finding some kind of a solution - I think the best I can do right now is put out a release that should work but if it doesn't, then it might take some slightly technical stuff at the user's end to fix it. At least I can include step-by-step instructions on how to fix it in that event.
I'm just still seeing what my options are and whether I can get something that's guaranteed to work out of the box. It's a huge hassle and very frustrating for me.
Nobuko/Mika scenes & voice acting
This week's image is from the Nobuko/Mika sex scene. I still haven't finished programming these scenes into the game yet, although I'll probably finish that up today. I've also been editing the voice acting and such.
Beyond the Nobuko/Mika scenes themselves, I'm also finally adding something very nice - Nobuko, after being romanced, will now greet you with a voiced "Hello Master/Daddy/Darling" line in the apartment, which makes a big difference, I think, and they're pretty sexy line readings from Sacci, too.
There's other new Nobuko voicing coming in the release, and a big lot of Mika voicing, too!
Lord Goblin coming soon
A lot of my time in the last week has been consumed by the Mac build thing, but also by a lot of preparation for Lord Goblin, which is finally getting close to ready!
This shows what we've been working on lately - I had to work with our programmer, Hulusay, figuring out how to make this zooming effect work and then giving myself a migraine tinkering with all the individual animations until it looked right. I hope you agree that it looks pretty cool...
I'll put out a full, public post next week, most likely, announcing the first, soft-launch of LG on the new Patreon page. By "soft-launch" I mean that I'm starting the first month by keeping the teaser build private and not announcing it everywhere, so we can manage the inevitable complications that will arise with putting out any kind of first version. A month later, we'll make that build public, while releasing a version for patrons with more content in it.

It is done through a parallax effect, yes.

It looks good sure, but it's just basic parallax like you would see in any 90s platformer.

Thank you! That effect was a big part of the design concept for the game. The environment artist Gil, our programmer Hulusay and myself all worked hard to achieve the effect we were looking to achieve so it would look like a 2D castle was 3D.

The spatial effect of Lord Goblin's castle when zooming in is great. You can even see through the windows how the surrounding area changes according to the angle of view. Terrific!
