Sure, I mean it's proceeding in the meantime. I've finally got a build with some gameplay in it that I've been able to test out, which is great, but I will be needing more done before I can show off a demo. I haven't wanted to turn this Patreon into too much of a Lord Goblin news feed just because I'll be funding it through a different source, but I'm happy to talk about it in general.

I do think the name sums it up pretty well. Someone pointed out that other VN yesterday, actually... but I think it'll be fine. Our game isn't really going to look anything like that one. It's also kind of important that the name for this be really clear, so that new players (like people browsing Steam) will be able to instantly grab onto the concept. And, you know, I've already got the logo done and everything. :D

It's fairly similar in themes to a Pervert Action game, albeit a little sillier and more of a fantasy style than PAT. I wanted to keep this project fairly familiar for me, because I was shaking up so much by working with a team and in the Unity engine.

Looks like a very interesting project! I'm looking forward to hearing more about it. Are you in love with the name? Because it's pretty generic. There is even a (abandoned) Renpy VN called Goblin Lord on F95.

Depends how it shakes out, I'm not interested in the trope where girls are forced to service someone really ugly, but a 'Beauty and the Beast' thing where they discover that someone who is different on the outside is not so different on the inside, that works OK. And looking at that preview image, the goblin isn't going to be bad looking for a goblin, I've seen *way* worse.
