Update - Emi caught with Hirai!

This week's images
These four images are from the new scene that's in the latest release. I planned to release them as teasers before I put out the scene, but that plan didn't work out. This scene fills a similar role as the Hirai/Nobuko/Shuji scene that was already in the game, being reasonably short but including a good amount of interaction.
I've upscaled all these to 4K for you as usual! It's still worth seeing the scene in the game, though. ;)
Stylistic development
I think I've kind of figured out a style that works for me for a lot of these smaller scenes - I come up with maybe two main poses and then work up close ups and variations, dividing text into smaller interactions and responses. That creates a scene that's about the right size, provides plenty of interactivity and detail, is fairly easy to complete and doesn't get boring. It's a good style to have developed!
Working on the Mika intro
My current work is on the challenging, programming-heavy task of introducing Mika to the game. There's just a lot of little technical issues that I need to address and test; and while adjusting one thing might help it often screws up something else at the same time. I've been making progress, but it's slow. Right now I've been able to get her intro in place and get her in the apartment, but there's some stuff I need to wrap up still in that process and her dating options aren't in place yet.
So anyway, it's a demanding task and I don't know how long it's going to take me to get it done, but that's pretty much my goal for this month - just get the basics of getting Mika into the game done. Then I'll probably fill out some of the details in January; more voice acting, including some conversation topics, maybe the jealousy scenes, etc.
This update is a day late because, honestly, I just forgot about it. Have you played this scene in the game yet? If so, what did you think? If not, what do you think of the pictures? Let me know in the comments!

Maybe; it'd be nice to have them. It kind of depends on what I feel like making at a given time, though. ;)

Scene was great and i like the change of locations around the house! Will there be similar scenes with Shizu and Mika too?
