I'm very happy to present the update I've been most excited about since starting this whole expansion pack: the Kimiko/Iku interactive scene! This is probably the biggest update I've done since the re-release and one that I think really makes a big difference to the game.
Features of v1.9.0:
- Now when you try to enter Kimiko & Iku's bedroom at night, if you've already had sex with both of them, you'll be able to enter the room for a sex scene with both of them. (This also wraps up the "entering bedrooms at night" game feature.)
- This is a full, interactive scene with both Kim and Iku, just as feature-packed as any of the other threesome scenes. That makes this scene a particularly large update by itself.
- This scene has 38 pictures, making it (I think) the most extensively illustrated sex scene in the game! Also, I think this is the most consistently good set of images I've designed for any sex scene.
- Masami also gets a new pose after you've achieved her interactive scene, and she's got six short new greetings she might give you.
- I replaced Iku's introductory picture from Rio's tour.
Cheats: The cheats have been tweaked. Find them here: https://www.patreon.com/posts/cheats-for-pal-2-14481548
Setup: The game should require no installation or extra software on Windows systems. Just upzip it, then double-click the executable file to run it. I have, however, included some Google fonts you can optionally install to enhance the experience slightly. If you have any issues please leave a comment, send me a private message or email me at bbben.aif@gmail.com and I'll address that as soon as I can.
Known issues:
- False virus warnings: Note that the ADRIFT engine does sometimes accidentally trigger anti-virus software. This is because it's an .exe with both the game and the engine all bundled in together. That looks suspicious to some anti-virus programs, but don't worry, the files are completely safe. I couldn't have been releasing games on Patreon for years if they had viruses in them. Even Windows Defender is making this mistake now, which is really aggravating, but you can tell it to allow the game.
- You may experience trouble if your system language is not set to English. Some variables may not work, causing "Bad expression" bugs.
- Some systems encounter a total freeze or crash on trying to run the game. If so it may be because you need .NET framework 2.0 installed on your system, which most systems already have. If you need it then you can get it (for Win10 64 bit) here: https://www.microsoft.com/en-AU/download/details.aspx?id=6523
- Sometimes animations cause problems on some systems, most notably stalling or slow loading. This is an ADRIFT engine bug that I can't fix. People have reported a work-around by clicking on the images.
- Clicking on rooms in the map to move around may make some scenes repeat themselves.
- Autocomplete has been reported as contributing to game lag. You can turn it off in the 'edit' menu.

So you can! This kind of content that seems like just a series of logical inclusions that you'd expect to be in there took an awful lot of work, though.
At last, I can wander freely through all rooms of the mansion at more or less all hours. The maids' odd hangups about me wandering into their rooms in the middle of the night are finally over ...
