Update - Fumi gives mouth service!
🕑 Added 2017-09-04 22:00:00 +0000 UTC tl;dr - I've been working on AotNM 'maid harassment' scenes, combat and Hiroshi scenes, I had a particularly bad bug to fix and I update my schedule for LMO.This week's image
This picture is from what AW and I refer to as the 'maid harassment' scenes - where you can feel up and have sex with the maids around the house in Attack of the Nega Maids. I think this one turned out well.
Right now I'm keeping the number of pictures for these scenes kind of limited; not because I wouldn't like to have lots - I would - but simply for time reasons. I can only make so many pictures in a day and I do need to do other writing and programming too. If I get a larger budget in the future to hire people to take some of the work off my hands that could change, but for now you're stuck mostly with me! (And AW and EFon helping out a little too, of course.)
Each of the maid harassment pics are very time consuming to render, too, since as I mentioned last week I have to render them each four times - one for each room (and night time for the outside pic). That slows the process down even more.
Attack of the Nega Maids
The first true update of AotNM is planned for this month at the $10 level, although I need to get the combat system changes finished before I can really release it, which is a pain. They probably won't be completely done (like, the graphics won't be finished) but it will hopefully be functional. This involves a range of skills from me; a lot of it is programming, but I'm also writing quite a lot and making graphics for it. Then I have to test it as well (below I'll discuss a particular bug that was a problem this week).
That said, obviously I also need it to include new sex! I'm planning on trying to get as much as possible of the maid harassment and the new Hiroshi offers implemented, plus maybe a few other extras around the place. They likely won't all be finished - it's just going to take too much work to complete all that this month, but I'm trying. While AW is helping a bit, he's very busy and really only dropping in the occasional passage for the maid harassment scenes. I still need to write everything else and edit as well, so I'm stretched fairly thin right now.
I've been doing a bit of everything; the Hiroshi scenes are illustrated but only partially written and the maid harassment has a fair bit of writing done and some pictures, but it's a little thin in places. I think the work is very strong and I've been making relatively fast progress over the last week, but it's still a slow process.
Fixed a tricky bug
I had a real pain in the ass bug to fix in the combat system this month. The game was actually crashing to the desktop in the combat system. Obviously this is a nightmare, but it's also hard to debug because I can't easily tell what specifically triggered the failure. Ultimately I did a bunch of tests and figured it out by the process of elimination: it was a new kind of special attack I'd created for the monsters which forced you to miss a round of orders and triggered the next round automatically. It turned out this was overloading the engine and it just couldn't take that much all in one go. It's a pity I had to cut that move because it was really pretty cool and not like anything else the other monsters were doing, but them's the brakes.
Let Me Out
Just a quick update here; I do plan to do a little work on LMO this month, but right now I'm focusing on Attack of the Nega Maids. I'll make a $5 release for LMO around the same time I release the first AotNM $10 release, which will be some time this month, as soon as I can, but I don't know exactly when. Just wanted to keep you informed.
So the plan for this month is a $10 AotNM release, a $5 LMO release and a public PAL update (1.1). Does that sound good, do you think? And do you mind if the new features are a bit incomplete in the first AotNM release? (They're going to be one way or another, I'm just wondering whether you mind.) Let me know in the comments!

No problem, thanks very much for your support! And the updates are good for keeping me focused, anyway. :)

Should be no problem then. :)

You're doing wonders with what you have to work with, compared to what other guys are doing. Thanks for the detailed updates!

As long as you clearly state which functions are complete and which are incomplete, I'm fine with it. A 10$ release sounds good to me!
