Update - 14 November 2016
🕑 Added 2016-11-14 08:48:33 +0000 UTCtl;dr - Mostly pretty simple this week - I'm filling in all the placeholders for v0.14.0 of PAL and I've also been picking up new 3D assets in the Daz Studio sale.
This week's image
Rio's found a new use for the Orb of Ecstasy!
I'm pretty happy with how this shot turned out, although you'll have to play the scene to find out what happens here. I do think it's an interesting image and it largely came out the way I wanted it to.
New 3D assets lead to more revised images
I've been getting a lot of new 3D assets lately because with my Platinum Club Plus membership at Daz Studio I was entitled to a lot of deals in their big anniversary sale that just ended. Not all the stuff I've got is super useful but I've picked up some random stuff here and there that I wasn't expecting to be able to bring in to improve the game. For example, I got a hallway set that I've been able to use as a better hallway for stage 1 of the Ai sex scene, so I redid those few pictures in the new hallway (and also with slightly better lighting). I even made a new version of that genie costume for Rio with some major changes!
I've actually invested a bit in some stuff that wasn't super cheap but which was discounted, high quality and which I am pretty sure I'm going to be using at some point in the future. Following from that I've been playing with test shots and designs for the future as well. Some aspects of the shift to more advanced 3D models will require some more practice, but I'm getting there. I won't be shifting to the 'Genesis 3' generation of character models in my next game but I will be doing so eventually.
Filling in the holes (nudge, nudge)
I've been filling in the gaps in the existing sex scenes this week, like I mentioned last week I would be doing. I'm getting closer and closer with this project; I'm hoping it will be done soon. (And when it is I'll be able to release the next alpha.) As depicted above, the Orb of Ecstasy pics have become a central project for me because they haven't been finished before now. There are some other little gap scenes that I've been finishing up too.
Honestly, there's not a whole lot more to say than that - I feel like this is a very short update, but I guess there just hasn't been all that much variety in what I've been doing this week. Still, the next alpha should be coming fairly soon, so that's some good news, and then I can finally focus on finishing up the harem ending and victory suite, which are already fairly well developed.
Anything to say? Please do!
