Twenty-two terwiffic Twyla tweaks
🕑 Added 2016-08-14 03:43:55 +0000 UTC I've been tweaking Twyla's design a little (I don't think there were 22 of them, that was just for the sake of the title). The differences are subtle so I don't know if you'll be able to tell, but I thought I'd show them here now since feedback on previous tweaking attempts was quite helpful.Broadly I've been trying to keep her look and the kind of 'Disney princess' animated style, but get away from the awkward uncanny valley problems I had before. Also, Iray's lighting has a tendency to make characters' faces look broader because it lights them more evenly (3Delight, the older rendering software, seemed to just catch the front of the models' faces instead).
If you're interested, the main changes have been subtle differences in her skin tone and glossiness, plus changes to her eye size and position, her mouth and lip size and the shape of her jaw and chin.
