Update - 29 August 2016
🕑 Added 2016-08-29 06:38:17 +0000 UTC tl;dr - Mostly this week I worked on the Masami/Kimiko threesome, so that's what I'm talking about this week!This week's image
Self-explanatory, really. This is from the Masami/Kimiko threesome. I hope you like!
One thing I did want to mention is that you will be able to tell the difference between my pictures and Phinn's in this scene, and in the broader game generally. Apart from the different character models the colouration and lighting is just a bit different. I'd like to know if this bothers anyone, but ultimately I hope you'll forgive the game this inconsistency. The alternative, I suppose, would be to not use those CGs from Phinn, but that's not really my plan.
In future projects that's not likely to be an issue as I'll be making pictures solo from now on.
Masami/Kimiko scene progress
At the start of this week I was pretty close to finishing the programming for the scene and in fact I finished entering the text soon after my last update.
Obviously I had to test the scene, so that was what I set out to do next. I'm extremely talented at adding bugs to everything I program so I tend to have to go bug hunting quite a bit to actually make the scenes work. I went through checking how the scene worked and seeing what needed to be edited or improved. Apart from bugs, of course, I found that voice acting was too quiet and there were several sex act responses missing that I had to write up.
As you can see above I also decided to add a couple of new pictures to the scene as it wasn't quite as illustrated as I wanted it to be. This is the hardest part - it can take hours to make a new picture, even when I have a base to work from.
I then decided that it would be a good idea for me to rewrite some sections to accommodate a few more of Phinn's pictures, including adding a new sex response and expanding a couple of others. That reduced the number of pictures for the scene that were 'orphaned' because I had nowhere to put them.
Masami/Kimiko threesome scene structure
I don't remember how much I've talked about this before, but I've gone with a different structure for this sex scene than with the other threesomes. With those other two scenes I tried out a different design structure - a series of five binary choices - because I wanted to experiment with how well that would work. I think it went pretty well since the foreplay had already been explored with all those characters in their one-on-one scenes, and because it gave me the chance to focus on creative orgy combinations rather than being stuck to the standard foreplay actions like 'rub tits'. Bear in mind that when you add characters to a sex scene the number of combination actions grows exponentially. 'A kiss B' is one action, but add in C and suddenly you have to add 'A kiss C' AND 'B kiss C'. You see the problem.
Well, anyway, for the Masami/Kimiko scene I actually wanted to have a lot of those foreplay actions because I had a lot of ideas of what to do in them. Therefore I made it a 'streamlined' threesome, in which many of the actions are combinations of others. In this structure the response for 'B kiss C' might well be the same response as 'B rub C's ass' and the response you get will include a bit of both activities. It's just easier to write this way. It also allows for more of those creative orgy combinations that I talked about without the scene bloating out to some crazy, unachievable workload.
That said, don't think this scene is small! I would guess that it's at least as big as any of the one-on-one sex scenes. There's lots of fun to be had.
Comments are helpful, so I encourage you to leave one if you've got something to say!
