Public update - July 2016
🕑 Added 2016-07-21 10:12:03 +0000 UTC tl;dr - PayPal is now an option if you want to support me! Also, I discuss what will be in future alpha and beta versions of the game. This month's image
Here's what Kimiko thinks of you. :)
This is one of the pictures from Kim's romance story; I don't actually have pictures for every romance scene yet but I'd like to. I added this one recently. Even if I don't get one for every scene it'll probably be okay because there's a lot of pictures of all the characters, and every character will have a picture of them available for each romance scene.
PayPal!
This month Patreon has managed to get a policy change from PayPal to allow people to make pledges to adult oriented Patreon campaigns through PayPal! This is great because it was always a bit limiting for patrons to only be able to use credit card payments. I don't expect an immediate, huge change to my campaign but I'm hoping this reduces the number of rejected pledges and makes it easier for new people to pledge in future.
Progress?
Yes! I've been making consistent, good progress lately. It's coming along well. If it seems like I'm taking a long time it's just because PAL is so much larger a project than anything I've made before. I can now see the end of the project in sight on the horizon, although it's still some way to go before I can really consider finishing it. Since last month I've been plugging away on things that aren't quite finished yet, but look at my release plan below if you want to see what elements I'm still working on.
My release plan
I try to get an alpha out every month, although that's not always practical. My plan for the content in future alpha editions is as follows:
- v0.11.0 - Masami sex scene and voice acting for most other components
- v0.12.0 - Masami/Kimiko threesome sex scene
- v0.13.0 - Endings, plus the climax of the story
- v0.14.0 - (First beta!) Harem mode, harem ending and harem victory suite
This plan does not, however, have a clear schedule for when I finish several other less obvious features, such as graphics for the combat scenes and implementing all the 'collector cards'. I am hoping to complete those as part of some of the alphas listed above. Therefore this is a rough plan, not a definite one. There are probably also other problems I'll need to tackle before the game is as complete as this schedule implies.
Once the first beta is out I will be focusing on testing for quality improvements, not making major content additions. That doesn't mean I'd be totally closed off to the idea of adding more content, just that I will be entering the beta phase which is about polishing and finishing the game.

Oh, by the way, when I say "more interactive sex scenes" I don't mean that the sex scenes are more interactive (although to some extent they are) but rather that there are more of them, most notably the three extra threesome scenes.

You're welcome! And to your question, it's bigger in a bunch of ways, actually: - more interactive sex scenes - more non-interactive sexual encounters, like night service - more complex gameplay systems, such as the improved combat system - more images (by far, I think) - more voice acting (by about 50% over PAF, I would estimate) That's not to mention areas where I'm just setting a higher standard now, such as the images, which consequently take a bit more work.

Thanks for the status update! In what way is this game way larger than your previous titles?
