Bonus: Crossworlds - New Janey and Debbie designs
🕑 Added 2016-06-02 13:52:35 +0000 UTC You might remember I made an attempt a while back to create designs for a couple of the Crossworlds characters. Not for any definite purpose, mind you, but I kind of thought if I came up with good designs then it would bode well for maybe one day doing a re-release of the CW games with some images. I decided that the designs weren't quite good enough - particularly the Janey one - and after I made the upgrade to Iray rendering I found the characters came out looking pretty horrifying. It was an uncanny valley nightmare that I won't ever show you guys in case it haunts your dreams. I honestly don't even like looking at it for fear it will totally turn me off the characters.Anyway, I was playing around with the Janey model and I made some fairly radical changes - tweaked facial features, tweaked body shape, a new skin texture, new rendering settings and a new hairstyle (although the hair is still based on the style described in the original game). I think the results are much better, but I'd still appreciate feedback on the design.
The Debbie design is more subtly changed, but the changes were still pretty important, including some improvements to a specific, important area that you can't see right now. ;)
Oh, and I'll reiterate that this is still not for anything I'm planning to work on soon. I have loads of work on my plate without considering programming and illustrating a Crossworlds re-release right now, but I think it could be interesting at some point in the future if I find the time. Consider it a trial balloon.

Debbie's biting her lip. I wondered if anyone would comment on that - I'd be interested to hear if anyone else has an opinion on it.

I think you intended the photoshoot published years ago on shark lagoon. Gb reappeared months ago on aif central for a brief period, you can read his words there. Briefly he don't say that it's impossible that he could publish something in future, but it's improbable (personally I don't think he will ever return to create game).

He retired from games. But he has released a comic. It's called The Photographer, you should be able to find it on e-hentai.

The models are a decisive improvement respect the firsts, especially Janey, I'm not sure about Debbie expression, it's a bit strange.

Glad you like the models! And yes, he did retire.

On that note, I never really looked into it but did G-man retire?

Well like I said earlier, crossworlds is what brought me into the text erotic genre..kinda special to me. Even before goblinboy. On that note soooo sexy.
