Update 20
🕑 Added 2015-08-03 12:28:34 +0000 UTC tl;dr Lewdgamer.com coverage, more image work, future plansToday's image:
Finally a Masami image to show off! (And Rio's in there too.) This one is from a little side scene that I haven't written yet - actually I just came up with it the other day. The scene isn't a big plot point and doesn't really involve spoilers, so I can show it off. It's not, in my opinion, the best image I've made this week. I've made several more that I think are better, but the next alpha will have some of those anyway, so there's no rush to put them here. Also I wanted to put in a nice Masami pic. :)
Coverage of Let Me In on Lewdgamer.com:
I don't know if you saw this, but lewdgamer.com did a little bit of coverage of Let Me In. It's not much, but it's a start. :) I actually had a skype chat with the editor of the site and I have good hopes that they'll be helping a bit to get the word out about PAL in the future.
The article is here: https://www.lewdgamer.com/2015/07/31/let-conquer-princess-tower/
Image work:
I started off the week continuing the image design work I've been focusing on since the release of PAL alpha 0.2.0. These have been taking a lot of work since they are kind of elaborate, and need to be done well. I've revised several of them already, and I'm going to revise them some more as I don't like some of the pictures.
Basically they're the images you're going to be seeing the most throughout the game - shots of the girls that pop up when you enter a room with them. There are different images for each of the maids depending on what job they're doing at the time, so that means three good pictures for each of the maids, and one each for Rio and Masami (plus night time versions of many of those). This is an idea I've been feeling I should have in the games for a while, but never got around to it before, and already seeing it in action I am confident it makes a big difference to the game.
Because you're going to be seeing them a lot they have to be good. I want you to feel like you want to at least try putting each girl into each different job just to see the picture of her at work. They also should give you a clear sense of the girls' personalities because they're a primary means for you to understand them. You'll see what I mean when you play the next alpha.
Next PAL alpha:
I'm planning to put together a new alpha soon, although it probably won't be a huge leap forward. I want to compile something to send to Lewdgamer.com so they can preview it, so while I'm at it I might as well give you guys access to the improved version. Mostly it'll have the new images; I am looking forward to showing those off.
Future expansion of Let Me In:
Just something I'm thinking about - I don't know if I'll go ahead with it, but I think there are still a few improvements I could make to Let Me In, even though I've now completed it to the level that I planned originally. I think in a 1.5 edition I could make it more fun to play with more content to find, and maybe it wouldn't take a crazy amount of work, either. That's something that I might do not too far down the line, depending on how I feel and if there's still any continued interest in the game.

Sure, I'll try to give that some coverage next week. It is integral now, and the fact that it's not in the game is a reason why the alpha is lacking some gameplay impetus at this stage. And they will be quite similar - but also different. :)

Hmm, maybe you can tell us some more about your battle system? It's supposed to be an integral part of the game, right? I really loved the battles in PAF, are these similar? Different?
