So two weeks ago I contracted a nasty cold, on the weekend when I was recovering I went to my barber and caught Covid after... almost 3 years running from it so I pretty much combo'd diseases, yay!
Today I am finally feeling 100% even though I'll have to be on pills for a month, so I'm giving you guys a little state of the game post regarding all our fronts:
Fleeting Iris: Well, due to many many bugs that you guys have been reporting in the last few days, 1.11 won't be the last patch, we will roll out 1.12 next week with a lot of bug fixes, again, thanks to you guys! We appreciate the bug reports very much and it's the only way we can achieve a bug free Fleeting Iris.
Fleeting Iris IF: CG team is still working hard on this one but it's starting to look like an August release might miss its mark by a few days. This will depend how fast the remaining scenes roll out, it's not unreasonable to believe that we'll still be able to make an August release but I want to give you guys an early heads up just in case we don't make it for the sake of transparency. We will keep you guys updated every day as we have until now. Today we will release a new preview in Discord. I know this update might seem like it's taking a bit longer than usual but this is no regular update, the new patch will play like a full game on its own, we don't want cut it short and make the same mistakes we did with the last Fleeting Iris IF patch.
Journey Abroad: Finished the last map we needed today, sadly I hoped to have all the required busts and CG's by now and we don't. When we order stuff from ScarlettAnn it can take anywhere from 3 days to 3 weeks to get it delivered due to the fact that we're outsourcing instead of having a house team working on the game every day, this is an issue that we knew could happen ahead of time and alerted for, adapting to Scarlett's release dates is something that we'll have to deal with when developing Journey Abroad at least initially, hopefully we can change the dynamic at later stages.
Halloween Patch: So far no changes, we'll try not to let any possible delays to Fleeting Iris IF cause us to miss the October 31 deadline.
Christmas Patch: Same as above, our goal is still to have a December 21 release date for beta testers and December 24 for everyone else.
That is all for now. Thank you guys for the patience and the amazing support,
Much love,
Starke
