An Apology

I want to sincerely apologize for my use of the word 'trap' in my previous Maid Cafe post. I'm very sorry for not being aware that it was infact a slur in the trans community, and I should have checked the meaning behind the word before using it. It's not a word I have ever used in convesation before, and I mistakenly believed I could use it to descibe a male presenting as a female. My ignorance is no excuse though.
I have updated the image now and will not use the word again or in the game.
My intention is to be inclusive with this game, and I want to include characters that are LGBTQ+ in a safe environment.
I will try to do better in the future.
If I ever make a mistake like this, or use terminology that is incorrect/offensive, please call it out, so I can correct it. Just know it is not intentional.

i'm... on the other end of things. it upsets me when people consider trap a slur. i strongly identify with the word and often feel invalidated when people draw all the attention to transgender individuals rather than crossdressing. of course, transgender individuals go through much more peril and deserve a huge voice. it just hurts to see a word i identify with treated like a slur for a group which should be completely unrelated to the term... all that said, this is probably a wiser choice in a world that currently blurs the two. despite how much i identify with the term, i avoid using it too. both in fear of a bad response to it and in fear of hurting someone who may have gone through a bad experience.
Thank you for changing it! As a trans fan of your work it means a lot to me that even if you didn't originally recognize it as a slur you'd learn from the people trying to tell you the damage it can and does cause. There's a few people in the comments saying they don't think it's a slur but I'm glad you're listening to all the ones from trans people who are saying yes it is a slur. The only people who get to say if something is a slur is the people who it gets used against and may actually cause harm to
