RYT Update 6
🕑 Added 2024-03-21 16:56:08 +0000 UTCHere it is! Not as long as a wait as the last update but it still took longer than I'd like! It's a bit of a shorter update, it was hard for me to write and I've been having a hard time managing things but I think it came out really well!
THERE ARE SOME TRIGGER WARNINGS/THOUGHTS FOR THIS UPDATE, THEY ARE MINOR AND I WILL PUT THEM AT THE BOTTOM OF THE PAGE HERE
I don't believe that they take away from the update at all, nor should anyone be afraid to play it, I just wanted to be sure I said something.
This update includes:
- 23k Words (Mainly main route)
- 1 New BG
- 1 New multi-part CG
- 2 Updated character sprites
- 2 Edited character sprites
- 1 New song edit
- New font!
- An update to the music room feature (also lovingly coded by my proofreader)

Thoughts (perhaps read this after the update):
Is RYT a horror VN? No. Will some kind of thing like this happen again? Probably.
The nature of the beast is still well unknown to Tucker as is to you, and uncovering what is going on is a harrowing and painful experience. I wish to translate that to visuals as best I can, and I believe it translates best as a psychological horror
RYT will always be a romance/drama/scifi at its heart
Perhaps I can't stop myself from injecting a bit of horror into everything I do. . .

I am really enjoying this VN so far, but I find it weird that descriptions of smell are almost entirely missing from the game. Don't get me wrong, it's not my thing, I just find it really really unbelievable that protagonist's first shower after multiple days spent in a prison cell went unnoticed by creatures with keen smell - like, nobody ever commented on how he got cleaner(???).
