Chapter 201: Something Expected
Pum! Pum! Pum!
A series of loud blows echoed from Dash and Jack's sides, both desperately trying to maintain their stance in the center. However, as the intensity grew, Jack began to show signs of stepping back.
Observing that, in terms of strength, they weren't very different, Dash knew that in speed, endurance, and experience, he was superior. He utilized all these factors in this exchange of blows. Dash focused, attentively observing Jack's fighting style. A peculiar emotion grew in his chest as he received and countered each blow very effectively.
Pum! Pum!
When Jack's fist and Dash's palm collided, both stepped back, this time showing expressions of indifference. The force came from the fist, but the effective attack was due to Dash's palm hitting a vital area.
"The pressure points are very sensitive to blows, and if you hit them with too much force, you'll be numb for a few minutes," Dash said, watching Jack seemingly complain about the pain where he had been hit.
"Don't underestimate me!"
From the previous exchange, Jack deduced Dash's strength and became even more alert. However, perhaps because they were the same age, he thought their skills wouldn't be too far apart.
"Now!"
Jack's speed and strength changed in an instant. His movements stopped holding back because he knew he was facing an opponent who didn't hold back in fights, so he went all out this time.
Faced with such rough attacks, Dash frowned, and his posture suddenly changed, using the defense Mr. Han had taught him. However, he was not as rigid as before and counterattacked more fluidly, regardless of what was happening around him.
Supported by the defensive style he was using, along with mastery of different martial arts, Dash calmly managed to land several effective blows against Jack, which, in a normal fight, would be valid points in a competition.
In just ten exchanges, Jack's offensive changed several times, and sometimes his blows targeted much more delicate areas when hit with his strength.
"I have to be faster," Dash thought as he leaned and attacked Jack's feet, successfully bringing him down with this sudden move.
Boom!
Once on the ground, using his excellent Jiu-jitsu skills, Dash restrained Jack in a few seconds.
"Now, do you want to stop?"
Jack, still exerting force, didn't think Dash was so versatile, so he replied, "Let me stand up, and we'll continue fighting."
"I'd be glad to fight you, but in a different way. Obviously, there's a great misunderstanding, so I'd like to resolve it by talking before we both get into trouble." Dash, who now had complete control of the fight, wanted to stop before a teacher arrived on the scene.
Jack, now defenseless, wanted to stop but disagreed with accepting defeat from a possible bully.
On the other hand, Devon and Kim had reached a stalemate where the results of their fight, due to the confined space, would be determined by endurance, and in this, few could match Devon.
In terms of combat, Devon was superior, but Kim managed to resist, and thanks to this, she was not defeated. However, the strength hidden in Devon's muscles was significant, as she had never been defeated since she started training Kung Fu every day.
Pum! Pum!
With a double kick, Devon connected both kicks to Kim's shoulders, and just as she was about to stand up in a jump, she could see several teachers with security guards approaching the area.
"Stop now!" "Everyone stop right now!" A thunderous shout was heard, and everyone instinctively stopped attacking. Dash stepped back a bit and looked at Devon, who had also stopped.
Jack, who had stood up, looked at Dash, and after seeing the results of the fights, knew they had lost completely.
Jerry, who luckily was still alive, looked at Jack and couldn't believe how he couldn't defeat Dash, who seemed not to be weaker in terms of strength.
"What do you think you're doing?! Everyone to the principal's office right now." Daisy looked at all her students and couldn't believe that the calm debate kids were martial artists.
Demetri, who was the talkative one, said, "In our defense, I'll say they attacked us first."
Daisy, who least wanted this right now, whispered, "Be quiet!"
"That's what I was about to do."
