Chapter 199: Things Worsen
"Julio, how are you feeling?" Jack could see some bruises on Julio's face, and he was certainly getting a bit angry, something that had never happened before.
Julio was surprised to see Jack and said with some nervousness, "I'm fine. Why do you ask?"
"We heard that you were being intimidated by a certain group of guys. How many were really bothering you?" Jerry asked after a moment of consideration.
Julio didn't think much and said, "There were three, but there's nothing to worry about. I'm sure they won't mess with me again."
After the beating Hawk gave them, he was sure he wouldn't be bullied again, and he truly hoped it would stay that way. He couldn't bear to be a burden to someone else, and it was certainly not a problem that needed attention.
But all Jack was looking for was an answer to head towards the bathrooms. Jerry, on the other hand, was very calm and said, "Relax; Jack will take care of it."
"Take care of what?" Julio asked, clearly confused.
But Jerry didn't answer his words; instead, he walked slowly forward where all the action was supposed to start, of which he would only be a simple spectator.
At that moment, Hawk was coming out of the bathroom, followed by Demetri and Mitch. They were all talking about what had happened, and they listened attentively as Hawk had become a hero.
"I'm sure this will bring us big problems. How could you fight at a school other than ours? With a scandal like this, I'm sure you could even get expelled." Demetri was not happy about the fight Hawk claimed to have won.
But Mitch, like a true Cobra Kai, said, "Stop being such a wuss. Nothing will happen."
Hawk nodded and said, "That crap you learn with Mr. LaRusso is making you even softer."
"I can't believe it..." Demetri was about to walk away from this duo of idiots with burnt brains when suddenly he saw that there was a long-haired guy blocking their way.
"Then I hit him in the stomach so hard that he fell to his knees," Hawk said, throwing a punch in the air.
Mitch smiled and said, "I should definitely learn to punch like that. With a punch like that, we could knock out our rivals."
"We should quickly return to the group before someone else is sent to look for us," Demetri said, passing by Jack, who appeared in front of them and, unexpectedly, was held by the arm.
"You shouldn't have hit my friend; you'll have to pay for that," Jack said, staring directly at Demetri.
Demetri understood what was going on and said, "You've got the wrong people. If you'll excuse me, I have to meet a teacher, so it's better if you go on your way."
But in a situation like this, how could Hawk stay silent? In his view, Jack was friends with the bullies who were bothering a defenseless kid, so he took a step forward and said, "You should discard the trash of a friend you have."
Jack looked at Hawk and said, "You shouldn't have said that."
"And you shouldn't have stopped us." Hawk's muscles tensed, he raised his fists, and after looking seriously at Jack, he mockingly smirked as he approached him confidently.
Faced with a direct punch to the face, to everyone's surprise, Jack showed not the slightest sign of avoiding this blow. At this scene, Demetri knew that they were in trouble.
Bam!
Just as Hawk's punch was about to hit his face, Jack finally made a move. He extended his hand towards the punch, and upon receiving the full impact, he held it with strength.
To everyone's surprise, Jack was able to stop Hawk's punch, making those who thought the fight would end quickly alert as they realized Jack was not just an angry kid.
"How can this be?"
This unimaginable scene left Demetri and Mitch stunned. How could it be that Jack had the strength to stop Hawk's punch without much effort?
Even Hawk's expression changed a lot at that moment. From what he could feel, Jack's grip was tightening, and the pressure force exerted on his fist was becoming increasingly stronger, even becoming painful.
And in the face of this, Hawk realized that he wasn't facing someone normal.
"That stance, the attack, and the strength are not ordinary... If you train in martial arts, you should only use them for competition, not to intimidate defenseless people," Jack said with a cold expression.
"This must be a misunderstanding," thought Demetri, but at this point, he could do nothing but act on the side he believed was right and stand by Hawk.
"So, you also know martial arts; that'll make it fairer," Hawk said before throwing a straight kick to Jack's stomach, who still held him.
Bam! Bam! Bam!
With this sudden change of movements, Jack began to dodge the attacks Hale was making. Demetri, who wanted to stay on the sidelines, soon saw Jerry staring at him, and after understanding his intentions, he said, "You should also consider your intentions."
"Let's go!" Jerry, standing next to Jack, felt full of confidence and soon launched himself to fight with Demetri, who immediately began to deflect the blows.
"Damn it, Hawk, let's finish this bully." Mitch shouted, but at that moment, a blonde girl appeared in front of him, and upon this scene, he said, "I don't fight with girls."
Kim, who looked at Jack fighting Hawk, shifted her attention to Mitch and said, "Then get ready to get beaten up."
Bam! Bam!
In an instant, a large-scale fight erupted, and the students in the surroundings preferred to block the passage so that no teacher would intervene until the fight was over.
