Chapter 20: The Strange Events in Town
"A newly bitten werewolf; whoever turned him must be an alpha, so I need to send the report," thought Ethan as he turned his gaze away from the distracted Scott, realizing that his best friend wasn't a werewolf, so it must have been forced upon him.
Walking to his desk, he saw a report that had been initially handed to him and discovered that a female werewolf had been killed in the mountain, split in half.
Making adjustments, a werewolf kills another on the same night that Scott was possibly bitten by a werewolf who must be an alpha.
In that case, Scott was bitten by the newly turned alpha, who was forced to form a pack as soon as possible to protect himself, feel secure, or simply fulfill all his goals.
Ethan, who was now discovering who the murdered werewolf was, first had to analyze whether it was a dangerous case.
He wasn't nervous; there were families protected by hunters, and they were harmless to humans. The Hale family used to be here, and in other places, there were the Cullens, who were vampires that only fed on animal blood.
At the same time, there were guardian werewolves who effectively and superiorly suppressed vampires.
Ethan had guessed that Scott was a werewolf, but of the third class, the weakest in the food chain of their own species.
The strongest werewolves lived as long as vampires, and they were first-level.
Those werewolves were the dogs of the vampires; fortunately, they were enemies and killed each other. Next were the second-level werewolves, who came from the Indians and were mostly the ones who eliminated vampires.
Following them were werewolves like Scott, who were the weakest and could be easily killed by a human with a crossbow.
"The class is over; don't forget the condition to learn well in this class."
Everyone left slowly, and the orderly manner in which they exited was admirable.
Ethan, who was looking at Allison, said to her, "Miss Argent, could you share your grandfather's name with me?"
"Do you really know my family?" Allison approached Ethan subtly.
"Probably, if I recognize your grandfather."
"His name is Gerard Argent; I don't think you know him."
Ethan then remembered the crazy old man, who didn't follow codes like he did in the past. "It seems that's not the case; you may leave."
Allison smiled slightly and left without saying another word. She was a little confused.
"What are these hunters doing here?" Ethan was becoming increasingly annoyed by the interruptions occurring in a town where there shouldn't be so much chaos.
