69 - A new day
At this moment, after Luke opened his eyes, he noticed the subtle movements of the small wolf named Bark.
Bark had awakened two days ago.
But during this time, Luke had not been ignoring him. On the contrary, he was evaluating him to see if he would fit into the pack.
If there is only brutality and tyranny, there is not much point in keeping him in his pack where everyone understands and appreciates each other.
Fortunately, Bark did not disappoint him.
After conducting enough investigation, Luke gestured to Baxter to call Bark to eat.
Baxter's current body size has also increased and is about 1.80 meters, which is not small among the Arctic wolves in this place.
When Baxter understood what his leader meant, he approached Bark and let out a low howl.
Upon hearing this low howl inviting him to eat, Bark, who had been motionless in the corner of the cave, slowly lifted his head. He knew that under the polar night, food is very precious. If a wolf wants to eat the food in a pack, that wolf must participate in the hunt, except for the pups, of course. For the rest of the members, there is never free food, especially in packs.
Bark, who was aware of this, was waiting for the pack to go hunting to participate and hopefully get some food. In this way, the wolves would not be driven away, but in a weakened state, Bark did not know if he would hold on until then.
But right now, Bark was very confused. Unexpectedly, the wolves in this pack invited him to eat.
After waiting for a while, Baxter saw that Bark was still dazed, without any apparent movement. Therefore, impatiently, he patted the small wolf on the head with his paw.
Auge!
Baxter did not use much force in this attack. But at this moment, Bark is too weak. With just a weak kick, his weakened body staggered and fell to the ground.
But it's okay, Bark soon struggled to get up again. But seeing his difficulty and effort in eating, Baxter did not let him move and instead tore off some pieces of meat for him.
Bear meat!
Bark had never tasted anything like it before. Because Bark had always been living in a common pack. When they encountered a bear, all they did was retreat without making much noise.
Rrr!
Baxter growled at Bark, indicating that he could eat with confidence.
This made Bark cautiously move his body and approach the food. Then he looked at the white wolf not far away, his heart pounding with fear every time he looked at him.
But seeing that the leader of the pack did not express discontent or objection, Bark opened his mouth and started eating. He didn't eat much, and only felt the fatty taste of the bear meat running directly into his stomach.
Bark felt revitalized seeing the opportunity to get food and swore that this was the best meal he had had in a long time.
At this moment, Baxter, seeing that Bark swallowed more food, wagged his tail with satisfaction.
After that, Baxter increased the count to three Lemmings to witness a more brutal battle between Ondina and Ardad.
As for Luke, he was lying under the magic tree, examining the numerous things he had.
There is no need to say more about the talent evolution potion and blood evolution potion.
[Blood Evolution Serum]: Species evolution, opportunity to obtain extended lifespan, possibilities of unlocking new talents.
[Talent Evolution Serum]: Elevates the ability to a new level.
The presentation of both serums is simple and straightforward.
It is clear at first glance.
The blood evolution serum can transform ordinary species into more perfect ones.
Although it is easy to say, Luke believes that he will gain many benefits from these rewards. However, Luke currently does not plan to use the serum to evolve his blood. He thinks it would be better to use it later as it could bring him even more benefits.
As for the talent evolution serum, Luke did not hesitate and wanted to use it now after carefully considering all his opportunities.
This time, Luke will enhance his hunting talent, as his mysterious collar offers him terrifying healing speed. By increasing his hunting talent right now, he can gain better opportunities.

Chapter 70
The entrance to the Arctic warm season was a place of extreme contrasts, where relentless cold met the incandescence of the polar sun. As anyone approached, they could see a vast landscape covered in ice and snow, where life seemed to defy the harsh conditions of nature.
The entrance to Luke's cave consisted of a dark and slightly bluish mouth from the outside. The mountain on which Luke's cave was situated was simply breathtaking. Its metallic surfaces shimmered under the dim sunlight, reflecting the icy glimmers falling from the sky.
As the warm season approached, many creatures began returning to the territory they had left. Occasionally, fleeting figures could be seen in the sky, adding a touch of life to the Arctic.
Meanwhile, Luke and Baxter were following the trail of a rather peculiar scent. They had discovered a day ago that a pack of wolves had caused a great disturbance in the nearby area of their territory.
This was a small wolf pack, and Luke already knew it because he had been observing this pack consisting of one male wolf and two females. The living conditions for this small wolf group were concerning, as it was challenging to maintain their hunting territory when the warm season arrived and other weakened packs encroached upon it.
However, this wolf pack was already preparing to mark its territory and warn other packs not to invade. As a result, the three wolves moved to leave their scent at the borders of their domain. Now, in the extreme night, many solitary wolves roamed outside, having lost their packs for various reasons.
Recruiting wolves, expanding their strength, and taking over territory are common methods for many wolves.
Luke was currently on a snowy slope not far from those wolves, watching them with cunning eyes. The current leader of this small wolf pack is a level 5 male wolf, with strength attributes that are mediocre compared to Luke's. As for the two female wolves, they were even weaker.
One of the female wolves is a normal adult Arctic wolf with level 4 attributes, but only at level four. Moreover, they were malnourished, and it was obvious that they lacked food. As for the other female wolf, she is not even comparable to Anie, who always stays in the cave.
With the strength of these wolves, Luke had no interest in attacking them. He stood on the snowy slope and let out a low howl, signaling Baxter to move. The long and strong howl of the wolves resonated instantly throughout this territory.
Having heard the howl of a wolf not far away, the wolf pack focused their attention on Luke. The three pairs of eyes observed those crimson eyes staring at them. When they saw Luke's tall and majestic figure, the fur of the three Arctic wolves stood on end in alertness.
No matter how low their intelligence might be, they knew that an Arctic wolf of that size was not coming to request joining their pack. A wolf of this size could hunt large prey even alone. Therefore, panic filled the eyes of the wolves.
At the same time, after hearing Luke's command, Baxter moved swiftly.
In the cruel nature, territory is not gained through peaceful conversations, only with fangs and claws can one defend or claim territory!"
Territorial competition among predators comes with bloodshed and struggle!
For now, Luke made no move; he simply stood, looking straight ahead.
On one hand, he was testing Baxter's combat power, and on the other, he let this wolf, who would be his right-hand man, fight a life-or-death battle.
Like an awakened beast, Baxter had greater potential compared to other wolves and needed more training in addition to experience.
Auuuuu!
In response, another howl was heard, and it was Baxter's. His current size far exceeded that of the pack leader he was about to attack. But unlike his opponent, he was well-fed and suffered no malnutrition.
Baxter was excited to fight for the first time, and with three enemies at once. He had watched Luke fight, so now it was his turn to show that he, too, was strong and could be relied upon.
On the other side, the alpha wolf began summoning the other two members of his pack to fight together against the enemy.
Territorial battles among small packs are common in the Arctic. Those defending this place from Luke and Baxter believed it to be their home, and none of them were willing to surrender their territory to the claws of other arrogant wolves.
At this moment, Baxter's current appearance was too fierce. It demonstrated not only his strength but also how intimidating he could be.

Chapter 71
Baxter stood before a pack of wolves led by a dominant male wolf and two female wolves. The air was filled with tension as the wolves prepared for battle. Defiant gazes and growls filled the space, foreshadowing a fierce confrontation.
Baxter was aware that this battle was crucial for his position in Luke's pack hierarchy. If he wanted to earn respect and establish himself as a dominant wolf, he had to demonstrate his strength and skill in combat. With his heart beating rapidly and his senses sharpened, he prepared for the showdown.
Since joining Luke's pack, Baxter had participated in numerous hunts, but he never felt that he truly held significant value in his leader's eyes. But this time, everything had changed. Luke trusted him to subdue this pack of three wolves, and Baxter was confident he could do it without any issues.
The dominant male wolf, an imposing figure with dark fur and penetrating eyes, was the first to launch an attack. He lunged at Baxter with indomitable ferocity, showcasing his combat experience. Baxter, with quick reflexes, evaded the attack and countered with a series of precise bites and slashes. His movements were agile and coordinated, demonstrating his prowess as a predator.
Meanwhile, the two female wolves closed in from the flanks, attempting to surround Baxter. They were cunning and swift, but Baxter was prepared. Using his acute sense of hearing, he detected their movements and swiftly changed his position, avoiding being cornered. With each encounter, he displayed his determination and resilience, showing no mercy to his adversaries.
The two female wolves closed in slowly, baring their fangs and keeping their eyes fixed on Baxter. The tension in the air was palpable as both sides prepared for battle. Baxter stood tall with pride, displaying his musculature and a defiant posture.
The first female wolf lunged at Baxter with a quick and powerful strike. However, Baxter was prepared. With agile movements, he sidestepped the attack, evading the sharp fangs of the wolf. In response, Baxter launched a counterattack, aiming for the flank of the female wolf with a series of precise bites.
The second female wolf, seeing her companion in danger, joined the fight. Baxter now faced two opponents, each trying to gain the upper hand. It was a fierce and ruthless struggle, with claws and fangs clashing in a whirlwind of motion.
Baxter moved skillfully, leveraging his agility and strength to defend himself and attack his opponents. He used his speed to dodge attacks and his powerful jaws to bite and hold the enemy wolves. Each move was calculated and precise, showcasing his skill as a fighter.
The opposing wolves didn't give up easily. They continued to attack fiercely, seeking any opportunity to harm Baxter. However, he stood his ground, trusting his instincts and combat experience.
The battle raged on, with fatigue starting to weigh on the bodies of the wolves. But Baxter was undeterred. His determination and will to protect his pack drove him to keep fighting.
The battle continued in a frenzy of claws and fangs. Roars and howls filled the air, mixed with the sound of blows and grunts of pain. Baxter took some hits, but his determination never wavered. Each wound was a reminder of his goal and a source of motivation to fight even harder.
As time passed, Baxter began to gain ground. His carefully crafted strategy and agility in combat gave him an advantage over his opponents. He unleashed a combination of swift movements, precise bites, and accurate swipes. Each attack was meant to weaken his opponents and demonstrate his dominance in the battle.
The dominant wolf, wounded and exhausted, retreated before Baxter's relentless advance. Recognizing the imminent defeat, it emitted a howl of submission, acknowledging Baxter's superiority. The two she-wolves, witnessing their leader's surrender, also withdrew, leaving Baxter as the undisputed victor.
But suddenly, the wounds on Baxter's body began to increase drastically and alarmingly. The attack from three wolves at once could be too fierce, as Baxter had never faced such ferocious wolves before.
"Rrrr!"
After a few more minutes, Baxter distanced himself from the three attacking wolves and remained alert, breathing heavily.
On the other side, the wolves were not in good condition, as their wounds were too severe and painful. At this rate, everyone would end up seriously injured, and in a time like this, it would not be advisable.
But just as everyone was about to resume their fight, a powerful noise that oppressed everyone without exception was heard from a distance, causing everyone to halt their steps.
"Rrrr!!!"
