66 - The ancient song
The snow falls upon the ground
The wolf howls in the night
Its fur white as the moon
Its gaze filled with fury and pride.
With sharp claws and teeth of steel
It runs into battle without fear
Its enemies tremble in its presence
But the wolf does not stop.
Blood splatters the white ground
The wolf roars with ferocity
Its enemies fall one by one
But the wolf keeps fighting.
The battle is long and bloody
But the wolf does not surrender
Its strength is unwavering
And its spirit is indomitable.
When the battle finally ends
The wolf howls at the moon
A song of victory and pride
Resonating in the mountains and valleys.
For this wolf is not just any
It is a Zerdin, mighty and brave
A creature that never gives up
And always fights for its clan.
"Today, a new successor of the Zerdin clan is born, may the stars and constellations be on their side..."

In total, the lone wolf and the lynx together weigh no more than a hundred kilograms. But still, this made the journey more difficult for Baxter, who was already wearing out his teeth dragging hundreds of kilograms of meat.
After Luke walked slowly for a while, he also regained some strength, and at least his wounds stopped bleeding. Therefore, seeing that the road was long, he began to drag this large meal along with Baxter.
On their way to the cave, Luke spotted several predators in the darkness that smelled blood. However, most of the predators were not in good condition like Luke, and they abandoned the idea after seeing the appearance of that huge Arctic wolf covered in blood.
Thanks to this, Luke and Baxter were safe on their way back. In the cave, Ondina, who was already fast asleep, was awakened by the strong smell of blood.
Alert, she got up along with the other wolves in the cave. She recognized that smell of blood, belonging to none other than a grizzly bear that her brother had hunted last time.
This time, she saw that her brother had brought back an even larger grizzly bear than before, and she also noticed the corpse of a lynx.
To be honest, she hadn't finished eating the remaining bear meat in the cave. But as long as there was more meat, everyone's life would be much better.
This made Ondina jump with excitement, trying to express her surprise.
But after a while, she wasn't hungry enough to eat bear meat. Therefore, she walked towards a plant that illuminated the surroundings with a bluish color. If Luke saw this, he would realize that the tree he had planted was growing at a rapid pace and with supernatural characteristics.
...
It was challenging for Baxter to drag the carcass of the baby grizzly bear. But after much effort, once Baxter brought everything back to the cave, he fell asleep on top of it. It seemed that only deep sleep could compensate for the tremendous amount of energy he had lost.
At that very moment, Ondina, who had laid down beside the small tree, looked at Baxter with her tongue hanging out beside him. It was then that she also noticed there was an unfamiliar wolf in the cave, struggling to breathe.
Curiosity filled Ondina as she approached this strange wolf. It was an unknown scent, but still, it was a wolf.
A new wolf who will live with the pack?
Luke entered without looking at anyone and walked to the back of the cave to rest properly for a while.
Feeling better, Luke let out a growl and signaled Anie to keep an eye on the new wolf. He also indicated for her to give him some crushed ice.
After explaining this, Luke fell asleep. Anie's next actions were unusually well-executed.
After bringing the crushed ice and snow close to the mouth of the lonely wolf, driven by survival instinct, he took all these pieces of ice and snow into his mouth.
As the solid ice turned into cold water, it flowed into the injured wolf's stomach.
After Anie finished doing these things, she approached Luke and found numerous wounds caused by the brown bear. Instinctively, she began licking the wounds repeatedly.
The wounds looked terrifying at first glance, but fortunately, they didn't damage anything important and only pierced some muscles. Under the effect of her healing ability, these wounds would eventually heal.
That's how the night passed...
...
That night, Luke dreamt of a song, where a wolf danced under the moonlight.
When Luke woke up, his body was much better than before, which reassured him.
With his passive healing ability, wounds, no matter how ugly and terrifying they may seem, can heal.
Now, there's a faint light in the sky.
This beam of light signaled that the polar night was about to end. The best season in the Arctic was approaching. It was at this moment that many species began to migrate back to this area.
Luke's physical strength and current condition have greatly recovered. After standing up, he moved his body a bit and then used an evolution potion.
Luke then walked towards the brown bear's corpse and began carefully cutting its skin to have more comfort while sleeping in his personal den.
After searching carefully inside this brown bear, he discovered a pearl that shimmered with a dark color, just like last time.
Luke swallowed this pearl, which seemed to be the core of Esper Energy in the animals' bodies, and immediately felt a surge of energy. This energy instantly converted into evolution points.
"[Congratulations on consuming a male brown bear's Esper Energy core and obtaining +100 evolution points!]"
More than a hundred points at once!
The evolution value this time is obviously greater than the one obtained last time. It can be seen that the higher the level of the hunted prey, the greater the evolution value given by the essence in their body.
With the sudden acquisition of these points, Luke leveled up once again. The mysterious energy of evolution soon reached every part of his body. Under this energy, the wound that had just formed a scab began to heal at a visible speed.
Evolution began anew!
