After catching the fish, Luke looked at it with more attention. In addition, its basic statistics appeared in front of his eyes.
With a level of 2, its overall statistics are truly good.
As for Baxter, who was watching on the side, he was howling with excitement as Luke caught the fish.
Luke's sharp claws tore into the fish, and like any curious wolf, he began to eat.
"[4.5 points evolution points gained for eating Salvelinus alpinus]"
The first bite of this Arctic trout, also known as Salvelinus alpinus, gave Luke a good value of evolutionary points.
And the meat of this fish is particularly tasty, very tender and full of nutrients.
Therefore, Luke decided to fish more these days.
At the same time, he also took an evolution potion. There were countless fish that he had never eaten before, so they could provide him with a very high evolutionary value.
Naturally, it is necessary to maximize the increase in evolutionary value.
The energy of the evolution potion surged throughout Luke's body.
In no time, Luke continued devouring what he had hunted, and the value quickly rose to high levels.
"[11.5 points evolution points gained for eating Salvelinus alpinus]"
"[11 points evolution points gained for eating Salvelinus alpinus]"
"[10.5 points evolution points gained for eating Salvelinus alpinus]"
...
This Arctic trout weighs between five to seven kilograms.
But Luke had a big appetite, so this fish was completely devoured in no time.
After eating, Luke looked around him and only after his senses did not alert him to any danger, he looked down.
The smell of blood has now spread completely in the hole of the ice layer.
Luke then threw away the remains of the Arctic trout and some bloody scales.
The taste of this blood is much stronger than before.
In a few seconds, a large number of different fish were gathered.
As Luke looked on, the first prey to approach was another Arctic trout. This type of fish was abundant in this area, and they were the ones that moved the most to look for food.
Luke did not hesitate either, and after seeing his prey, he attacked with his right paw again.
His sharp claws penetrated deep into the water.
By the time the Arctic trout sensed the danger, it moved its tail quickly. But even though it reacted fast, it only made Luke's attack deeper.
Crack!
The grip was weak, but Luke wasn't worried. With his other paw, his left paw, he caught and secured his prey. This Arctic trout was the same size as the previous one.
Then, under the effect of the potion where his points tripled, he took a few bites without stopping. Only after seeing that the points he had gained had reduced to just over one point, he threw most of this fish to Baxter.
Baxter originally didn't want to eat fish, but when the aroma arrived, he couldn't resist. After seeing that his boss had shared the prey, he was so excited that he wagged his tail.
But knowing Baxter's behavior, Luke just ignored him and looked under the water for his next prey.
In no time, another Arctic trout came out of the water. Precisely and ruthlessly, Luke pierced directly through the body of the Arctic trout and caught it.
This time Luke was more skillful, and even though his prey was wounded and out of the water still frantically moving, trying to return to its domain.
But Luke kicked it, hitting the head of the Arctic trout. With a head impact, the Arctic trout stopped moving.
Several minutes later, after catching at least three more Arctic trouts, he made the seals in the distance emit sounds of surprise.
The cry of the seal is a bit sharp and piercing.
Even many seals that lazily rested on the ice sheet straightened up and looked at Luke and his companion.
And Luke, who was still fishing, secretly enjoyed the surprise of the seals. But as soon as he focused back on the water, he saw a large fish swimming.
This large fish has a full body length of over 1.30 meters. Compared to the newly captured Arctic trout, it is a giant compared to a dwarf.
As soon as that fish arrived, all the others scattered fleeing from that enormous figure.
One that escaped slowly was directly and fiercely eaten by the big fish.
Luke, who saw this long and large fish with his own eyes.
"I must catch this fish, the value it will give me will be incredible!" Luke thought with bright eyes.
"[...Species: Anarhichas denticulatus

"An Arctic char." Luke had never seen such a large fish in person.
This fish's strength is very good.
The Anarhichas denticulatus, also known as the Arctic char or wolf fish, is a predator fish, which would explain why it approached with such confidence when it smelled the blood.
It has a large head and a mouth full of sharp teeth that it uses to catch its prey. Luke narrowed his eyes, determined, he will definitely catch this fish.
