Chapter 28 - Wolf and Moon
Once upon a time there was a wolf that roamed the plains and always walked alone howling in his darkest nights.
Nothing ever mattered to him, he took from life what he needed and always believed himself to be the owner of the whole world, living in a sleep so deep and unchanging that it shook the highest mountains of the arctic.
But on one of his cold nights, when that lone wolf felt sad, he stared up at the sky and sighed with great longing.
A thrill instantly welled up in the depths of his cold heart, he became fascinated with the moon so beautiful and splendorous that it illuminated with its beautiful glow an emotion of love.
He began to sing his favorite song, howling and dancing to conquer that cold and distant love, and the wolf stopped feeling sad since he had someone who was blossoming love.
For the moon and the wolf fell madly in love and deep in his mind, the wolf loved her again and again, today less than tomorrow and tomorrow much more than yesterday.
And though as the new day came his great love was lost, he knew that the next day she would return to his side
That gave his life a motive to heal such a deep wound, that although being a lone wolf, he learned that someone can finally give it importance.
And even though he couldn't touch her, the wolf was dying for her and as long as he could ever caress her, that made him very happy and longing.
Until one day he found a way to touch her, in a puddle of water he was finally able to caress her and from his chest he let out a great howl in which he let out all the love he had felt for her.
With each passing day their love grew more and more, the wolf every day cut a flower for the moon with its sharp teeth with his sharp teeth and always took it with him, waiting for the moment when she would return.
So time went by, for him there was no longer a moment and he only lived for her, making sure to take care of his beautiful moon.
But every moment of happiness always has to end, because the moon felt that that love eventually died, and on a new night she never felt his love, so loneliness invaded her heart.
At that moment the moon was saddened, she could never tell the beautiful white wolf what she felt, but only she knows how many times she struggled to tell him that she also loved the wolf.
So at some point, when the moon feels the presence of a majestic wolf howling at the moon, she remembers those beautiful moments, knowing that the wolf had reincarnated again.
"Who is the wolf and where is he?"
"Remember, the wolf is always in solitary and will never ever be seen so openly by humans. If any came to know of him, it would be because he has taken a whole kingdom for himself."
"And who is the moon?"
"Many say it has no shape, but sometimes they relate it to a fox.... They have never seen the moon before, so their love is merely visual."
...
In the afternoon, Luke was moving among the dark surroundings of the Arctic continent.
He is very fast!
Before long, it didn't take him long to reach a snowy slope.
From the snowy slope, Luke looked down condescendingly.
What appeared in front of him was a huge grizzly bear.
This huge grizzly bear is now chewing on a bush and eating some fruit and moss from the ground.
Perhaps because of the polar night, food became harder to obtain.
But shouldn't bears be isolated in hibernation?
After eating the fruit from the bush, the grizzly bear even ate the branches and leaves of the bush.
What a grizzly eats is mixed, it can be vegan as well as carnivorous, can Luke also be a carnivore?
With few sources of access to food, Luke even thinks if he were to get hungry he might eat some fruit or moss.
Although the grizzly bear is not the strongest overlord of the Arctic continent, few predators dare to openly provoke him.
And of course, Luke wouldn't think of taking him on alone either....
This is a grizzly bear!
"[... Species: Brown bear (Female)
Level: Level 10
Esper Energy: 1589
Endurance: 116
Strength: 102
Defense: 108
Speed: 79...]"
This wasn't the first time Luke has seen a bear, but even comparing stats would be impossible for him since he doesn't remember.
But when he saw those numbers, it had very strong attributes.
Strong energy which is spirit, high defense, strong stamina and not to mention strength which is one of the most feared things of the grizzly bear.
Besides the speed deficiency, it can be said that this bear's attributes mostly crush Luke's stats in all directions.
But Luke still had the idea to try something with this grizzly bear.
He had been paying attention to this grizzly bear for a long time.
Soon, he didn't need to know that she was pregnant.... I mean, he had been watching her for some time since she took the cave as her new home.
Even if that female brown bear gathered food to go into hibernation, it wasn't enough food if she was pregnant.
It is difficult for a female brown bear to recover soon after giving birth.
In the past, not to mention a single Arctic wolf, even a pack of Arctic wolves would not provoke a brown bear even if it is female.
But if it didn't exist in the past, it doesn't mean it doesn't exist now.
Luke had been thinking about the meat of a grizzly bear for a long time, as well as for its fur that should be enough to make a small bed, as its meat to feed on for a long time.
But he did not move rashly.
Although his own speed far exceeds the speed of this female grizzly bear di enter into a fight directly, with a single bite Luke would be in a very bad situation.
Because even if he hits the female grizzly bear hard and leaves her with several initial wounds, she is no match at all for making a wound exchange.
But on the other hand, if he uses his hunting talent, he could suppress the grizzly bear for a short period of time.
However, his hunting talent only has a short time of 60 seconds.
If Luke cannot get rid of the female grizzly bear during this short period of time, he will be greeted by a series of crazed attacks from the female grizzly bear.
But Luke is ready to move on to level 6,
After the force goes up to level six, with his hunting skill, he will be able to take on this female grizzly bear.
Luke has detail coming to this place mainly to determine the Sapphic condition and the place where the female brown bear dominates.
At that time, the female brown bear slowly walked back to a dark cave after eating almost all the surrounding bushes.
The cave is low, the location Luke chose is far away from here and the security is much better than that of the grizzly bear.
But it is also true that any predator no matter how strong, would not come to bother a bear.
Luke stared at it for a long time, and after seeing the female grizzly bear enter the cave and not come out again, he withdrew his gaze and prepared to return.
But as he turned his body back, his pair of crimson eyes glowing like the eyes of the devil himself in the dark, he noticed something looming over his body.
