55 - A pack of wolves of different
The female brown bear in this area was hunted by Luke some time ago. But since he moved to this place, he had seen at least four roaming nearby.
After recovering from his injuries in a short period of time, Luke, whose strength had greatly improved, had a dangerous aura surrounding his body.
Anyone who saw him would feel that aura, and Luke, who hadn't faced great danger lately, wanted to face a brown bear under good conditions.
After his right leg had improved significantly, his strength was too strong. This made him think that if he faced a brown bear again, it wouldn't be as difficult as before.
In addition, brown bears above the tenth level, considering the quality of their meat, could offer him their fur which is really comfortable, and maybe he could get an Esper energy pearl.
In all this reasoning, Luke, in the company of Baxter, returned to the cave where the other members of his pack were.
As soon as they entered the cave, there were some sounds of wolves. And the scene that was unfolding right now was a fight.
Ondina was fighting Ardad.
Luke noticed that his sister was still very upset about what had happened a few days ago. Since her last defeat, Ondina had been practicing a lot to beat Ardad.
As for Ardad, his body and basic stats continued to increase.
Growl!
Auuu!
The growls and howls of the wolves were heard. Ondina attacked again and this time she did not dodge Ardad's attack, but moved her body to avoid it.
After dodging, taking advantage of the positional advantage, she forcefully attacked Ardad's front legs and chest.
The blows were effective, and it was known that those places were the most vulnerable areas of wolves. This is where wolves' defense is weakest and where they should protect the most.
It's a relief that Ondina only hit without the help of her claws, otherwise, this blow would have been enough to cause a terrible injury.
This gave Luke an idea that he should be more careful with the wolves' practices, otherwise a tragedy could happen.
Although the wolf's claws were not exposed, Ardad could not help but howl after this blow. But Ondina did not stop and turned her body again, lowering her head to protect her neck and preparing for her next attack.
By moving in this way, Ondina was able to get closer to Ardad, and by reducing the distance, the two wolves fought instantly exchanging blows.
But Ardad, after receiving a blow to the chest and legs, was evidently unstable. After another exchange of blows, Ondina was able to knock him down.
Ondina's white paw stepped on Ardad's head, her teeth were also on Ardad's throat like a small threat.
This means not only a defeat, but also a certain death if the fight had been in another place and with other opponents.
Although they knew they were just playing, Ardad, who had enjoyed a victory, lost again and had no choice but to use his most lethal technique, begging for mercy.
"Awuwuwuw!"
At this moment, Ondina was the one who obtained the victory. As soon as she heard Ardad's plea, there was a look of pride in her eyes.
Now, Ondina's teeth left Ardad's neck, but her front paws hit Ardad's head as a rebuke for humiliating her in front of her brother a few days ago.
Boom!
Boom!
...
Every blow from Ondina was accompanied by a mercy bark from Ardad!
But everything stopped when Ardad saw the majestic and powerful shadow of a wolf enter the cave. His mischievous eyes gleamed, and his plea became stronger.
"Awawawaw!"
It seems that he was announcing that he had been suffering for hours and hours after fighting against Ondina.
At that moment, Ondina saw her wolf brother return. Originally, she planned to let Ardad go after seeing those fake tears, but this made Ondina look like the bad wolf, so she gave Ardad a few more blows.
As she hit him, she also howled in anger. She had warned Ardad not to act so pitifully if the blows weren't hurting him.
But Ardad continued to cry harder, and after being silent for a moment, he licked Ondina's paw as if it was the biggest plea he could make.
This made Ondina release Ardad with satisfaction. This scene was seen by Luke and Ardad, but neither of them stopped them.
It is normal for puppies to fight and play like this. In this way, they decide at an early age who is the strongest and weakest in the pack.
In this way, when they become adults, they won't have to fight for a position in the pack. Luke had turned his pack into a true family, where everyone knew and cared for each other.
Moreover, with Anie taking care of the two imperative wolves, there can be no major problems.
Everyone went back to their places.
After they released poor Ardad, Ondina walked slowly towards Luke.
She hoped to be praised by her older brother.
But Ardad also crawled over to Baxter, showing how he was defeated.
Baxter looked at Ardad in front of him and thought of the injured mother of the little gray wolf in the pack. There was some ignorant sympathy on his wolf face again. He simply howled softly, indicating that little Ardad should sleep on the arctic fox's fur.
Baxter, as Ardad's leader, showed him some sympathy and wouldn't use him as a pillow.
As for Ondina, her small body jumped up and down with excitement in front of her older brother. She was announcing, "What do you think of my fight? Ardad is not strong, I am stronger than him."
