Even in the face of evidence of ring doorbels and they could have caught him in the act of stalking, the police didn't care. They were all to ready to blame the women for the actions of a man, they had framed Susan a runaway because they didn't care. They should be ashamed of themselves.

That dispatcher was one of the worst I've heard; the poor girl was obviously terrified but holding it together, and the dispatcher was accusing her of..somehow causing the problem!! Wow. Glad they got the guy even though they weren't very sharp.

Thanks, Mike! I'm very indignant with the role of the police in this case (and what else is new?). Not only for waiting 48 hours to start looking for a minor who had never fled home, but most of all for not taking action agains Miles when he was reported. This girl's death COULD have been prevented! Anyway... Love ya!
