Thanks, Mike! I just want to say this: I got tears in my eyes, from sadness for this poor young girl, and from frustration on the incompetence of all this people. Even when hearing Denise's call, I was saying "Shut up and listen, you stupid woman!" Couldn't she tell that the caller was in distress, and IN THE PRESENCE of her abducter? I'd think it was pretty obvious! Oh! and let's not forget cousin Harold, who saw a girl trying to escape and yelling at him to call the cops, and then watched his cousin forcefully putting her in the car, AND DID NOTHING! And then took three hours to call 911! Love ya!

This is so sad. I think about the amount of training I received as a 911 operator/police dispatcher here in Canada - 6 months with a trainer and 2 weeks at police college! It was still hard after that. But that dispatcher killed Amber as much as that disgusting piece of human trash who kidnapped her did.

I’m going to have to take my blood pressure, I’m so outraged at this one. Giving those utter incompetent morons more training? Sack them now & institute a mandatory IQ test. Even the first operator was a total idiot- keeping on talking instead of f*cking listening- she clued the kidnapper in that his phone was missing! Stupid, stupid cow.
