Why is it offensive that I think she was pretty? She was a really beautiful girl. Dont be so quick to criticize someone else complementing a 3rd persons looks. If she was an unattractive girl, it still would be a tragedy. I feel like you may have missed the point of my comment 🙃

There was a very similar case in Texas in the 1960's but it had a very different outcome for the shooter. I guess where you come from and how you're viewed by your community makes a huge difference in how things turn out. A nonconformist 17 year old named Betty Williams was the victim.

What a sad story. She was so young, and pretty. She could have done anything with her life, her greatest asset was time, and she threw it away over short term heartache. Heroin addiction sucks, I wanted to die many times, but now I have 6 years clean and a life a million miles away from when I was junkie. We do recover, and I am so grateful I survived. It’s a goddamn tragedy that she didn’t.

Thanks, Mike. It may seem a little psycho that I like it when I hear “my TC” notification. Stay safe. I live in KC and the Super Bowl parade yesterday. (The whole area celebrated—my daughter’s school was canceled because there wouldn’t be enough staff to teach.) Some whack-a doodles decided it be a good idea to bring their guns; just in case, I don’t know, they started arguing. Kansas and Missouri are open-carry. My older daughter went with some friends and was within 50 yards of the shooting, but she was able to get out of the area; but it may be the last parade or rally she attendes for a while. The last update I heard was one dead, three still in critical condition. TWO JUVENILES have been arrested. There were 11 kids (aged 6-15) hospitalized for shooting yesterday. Bravo to Coach Reid who huddled a group of high schoolers to cover, and was helping them to breathe because he’d keep them safe. This world is pretty jacked up sometimes.

Stories like this are wild. I feel bad for Natalie’s boyfriend. To know she met up with another guy, who eventually killed her would make me absolutely livid.
