I read that Nathan’s mom petitioned the court for full custody of Maddie and the local CPS said they were doing everything they could do to help that happen… so I’m sure gma has her. I also saw videos of the victim impact statements from both families and Nathan’s made comments about rallying around Maddie and making sure her life was good… so I think a lot of Dad’s family is helping.

I'm truly sad and revolted with this story! How can people be so evil? This was nothing but hate, jealousy and not letting the other side win. Because I don't believe they even loved Maddie. If they did, they'd take good care of her and her surroundings (that disgusting yard! Yikes!) and, most of all, wouldn't deprive her of her loving father. Anyway, thanks, Mike. Love ya!

This is such a sad story. So many lives ruined by four sick, twisted people. Nw 5 kids are left without parents. Nathan and Krystal seemed like wonderful parents and members of their community.
