I like the old background too. I was never too fussed one the greenscreen.. not that it was bad as such but it just didn't seem as familiar and looked kinda generic, like it could have been anyone's videos. The minimalist black background and floating head look was sort of like the ThatChapter trademark. It was part of the whole ThatChapter package. It was somewhat iconic.. you saw a thumbnail with a floating head surrounded in darkness with the classic TC font in red and white.. and well it just spelled ThatChapter. The dark theme fitted well with the whole true crime content. I thought it was just right.. but then again, I'm kind of a traditionalist, set in my ways and I don't like messing too much with a formula that works. I felt it did stand a little.. and well that's what you want.. to stand out from the crowd. 😎
