Bad Apple - A Cautionary Tale
🕑 Added 2024-12-31 16:00:15 +0000 UTCOnce upon a time, there was a CEO called Tim Cook. Every day he would consult his iPhone for financial advice...
"Magic iPhone in my hand, who is the richest in the land?"
Siri replied...
"You could be a wealthier chap, if Patrons paid to use your app."
To cut a long story short, if you sign up for membership through the Patreon app on an Apple device, they will charge you an extra 30% App Store fee every month. This money doesn't go to me or Patreon - it's Apple Tax.
So, if you're considering becoming a new member and want to save a substantial chunk of change, please access Patreon through your browser instead. Existing members won't be impacted.

The good people of Patreon told Tim Cook to take a hike, and they all lived Appley ever after.
