MPL Ep 32 - Sneak Preview + Small Update
🕑 Added 2020-05-15 09:08:11 +0000 UTCHello lovelies <3 Today's sneak preview is a little different since it contains some additional updates.
Backgrounds and props are a large part of my story telling process, and I try to keep them as 'accurate' and 'logical' as I can (although background work is very time consuming, so this isn't always possible). And as I started working on this week's episode, I realised I made a huge booboo with this building that appeared in last week's episode. So this week, I spent 2 days fixing everything - basically re-modelling the environment so it's geographically accurate, and adding more details to the building.
Anyway, this is the revised version of the building (note that sneak preview artwork isn't the final piece, though). I was contemplating if I should update y'all on this revised building model, since it kind of counts as a spoiler. But I figured this is what you'd have seen last week, if I hadn't made those mistakes. So here it is again - same building, different angle.
Next thing I wanted to notify y'all, is that because of the stupid amount of time I spent re-doing this background, I wasn't able to finish all the panels for this week's episode 😭😭 So this week will be a shorter episode than my usual ones. Sorry guys!
And that's pretty much it. See you when the episode drops <33

I agree! I get so excited whenever she posts a new update. There's something about her art and storytelling that just moves me. But, at this point, this work she's doing shouldn't be considered a hobby anymore. This may have started as a hobby, but it has evolved into her full time job. I hope one day I can reach that level with my art.
@Lilydusk I'm working as a senior interior designer and doing 3d models! If you need any help to model things... I'd love to :)
Your amazing Lily and all I can say is that your hobby has been a real gift to me, and so many other people. The way you illistrated your comics are awesome and very well detailed in a way that has me invested in a way that I haven't been in quite a few years. It's also inspiring to know your in your 30's. So Thank you for perfecting your hobby and being willing to share. You have a real gift.
