Health update (hand strain) - nothin serious
🕑 Added 2020-03-26 03:20:01 +0000 UTCA couple of days ago I noticed pain in me hand, which is a sign of me overworking it - most likely because of a minor hyper episode I had where I didn't stop drawing for several hours straight two days in a row. Bad move on my part and something I try to avoid, usually focusing that energy into writing instead as it's far less straining on my wrists, but this time I wasn't very mindful and didn't pay attention to the light warning pangs.
But I did a dumb. So after that I took one day completely off and the following day I only drew very little. I'm gonna be drawing at about half the amount of hours I usually draw with more frequent breaks to make sure that my hand doesn't get any worse and recovers as well as more regularly massage & stretch my wrist/arm and sleeping with a support cast to give it as much rest as possible.
This is nothing serious as I've had this happen a few times before and I've learnt to take care of it early so I'm only taken out of commission for a few days or so instead of whole months as I've had to in the past.
Basically TLDR: My hand is achie cuz I'm a big dumb dumb, so I'm gonna work at about half pace to let me hand recover, which means Patreon rewards are gonna trickle out a bit slower than before. I should be back to normal speed in about a week or so.
Just wanted to keep people posted if I seem to take more breaks on streams or production is slowing down.
